I think Sterling is suffering with the small man syndrome.

I'd sooner have his syndrome than whatever syndrome you've got. I'd wait to see if this goes the same way as Downing before slagging him off. Oh, wait, he's a player you don't like. Forget that, keep putting the boot in. Shithead.

It appears that if Raheem isn't knocking birds up, he's knocking them out...

Seriously though, this appears to be a storm in a teacup. Section 39 Common Assault means no injuries were sustained. This may simply amount to a hysterical girlfriend claiming she feared for her safety in the midst of a tiff. At worst, it was a minor squabble.

By all accounts Raheem and Shana Halliday have been together for over three years so it is most unlikely that this will proceed to trial once tempers have cooled. It is hard to see them staying together if she testifies against him. I suspect (perhaps unfairly) that there are not too many 20 year old women who would be willing to give up a future with a Premier League / International footballer (earning tens of thousands per week) over a minor spat.

Sterling needs to grow up a little though. This is the second time he has faced a similar allegation and he now faces the "no smoke without fire" innuendo. He must avoid getting himself into these type of situations at all costs in the future.

Not necessarily. I don't know the circumstances of this allegation but Merseyside CPS routinely undercharges cases of domestic violence as common assault in order to ensure the case stays in the magistrates' court where there is a greater chance of conviction and a restraining order being made. Lack of finances also plays a part.

What the fuck is going with him? 2nd time now hes been accused of assaulting women, if his missus is playing twisted head games with him then he needs to fuck the bitch off sharpish, can't be having her running to the filth every 5 minutes screaming bullshit and dragging him and his name through the mud.

He also needs to sort his hair out, looks a right twat , its like hes let a dog curl one out on his head.

He's got previous although that was dismissed. He might not find himself so lucky this or next time.

Needs to get his head sorted if he is in to hitting out at women. Course, it could be his woman is stirring shit.
