And apparently there's a Dexter : Resurrection on the way too, which Michael c hall is signed up to do. I'm he's not literally resurrected.

He only does the voice over, it's a younger Dexter in the show as it goes back to his teenage years.

That's true of the Original Sin prequel. But the Resurrection sequel, which picks up from when he was shot in the last episode, all that's been announced is he's starring in it. Nothing more - voice over, figment of someone's imagination in the deb/harry mould, or actually he's not dead.

Just a follow on from the Dexter Resurrection stuff, here's some quotes around it:

The other big question remains: Will audiences buy Hall’s return to the role of Dexter Morgan, after he was so controversially killed off?

“Who are we kidding?” Phillips said. “If we get Michael C. Hall back into Showtime’s No. 1 show on Paramount+, people are gonna watch it. So we’re invigorated in the writing room, now that we’ve figured out how to bring him back.”

Watched the first episode of the 3 body problem. It was decent. I have a major annoyance to programmes just casting as many good looking people as they can though. It makes a show seem unauthentic. Look at Sopranos one of the million things that make it possibly the greatest tv show of all time is the cast. It's not Hollywood teeth and perfect hair, I guarantee if it was the show wouldn't of been anywhere near as good. I'm deducting 3 points from a score I'm not going to give to 3 body problem because it's cast is fucking boring.

Oh dear God. This looks absolutely shocking. Of course it's sex-swapped, chasing an audience that doesn't exist.

If she was black and trans I might have watched it. To be fair, I haven’t stopped laughing at the trailer. Granted, I never started and turned it off halfway.

I’m going to catch up with The Old Man tonight. Should be alright.

God, Emily Atack whining about misogyny yet again- https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2024/oct/07/i-was-always-the-bit-of-totty-emily-atack-on-tabloids-trolls-and-life-after-the-inbetweeners

Nothing to do with her terrible career choices following the Inbetweeners- lad's mags, shit films, I'm a Celeb etc. No, she's been held back by bellends on social media. She even got given her own series- written and performed by her- predictably it was absolutely dreadful (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt12738144/reference/ ) Yet again, she blames the 'women aren't funny' crowd for its utter failure- no, love, you're not funny, you're not a comedian and you're a mediocre actress at best. So after spending years complaining about being objectified, she's now got her tits out in a Jilly Cooper adaptation and the Graun somehow thinks she's triumphed? Bizarre.

The White Lotus season 3, and A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms (another Game Of Thrones spinoff) coming in 2025.

I was hoping we’d get White Lotus this year. Bloody brilliant that.
