Welcome to the new and improved TLW!

Some of you may experience issues logging in and will get an 'incorrect password' error. Don't worry, you haven't typed it in wrong and your password hasn't been changed. You will need to reset it though in order to log in. Click the reset password link and you will receive an email with your new temporary password. Once logged in, you need to choose a new password (or restore to your old one) otherwise you will be locked out again.

If you have an out of date email address linked to your account, then you won't receive the new password. If that's the case then you'll need to email me (dave @liverpoolway.co.uk) or send me a tweet @theliverpoolway and I'll update your password manually.

Any other problems or questions just let me know.

Thanks

Dave

TOM INCE 2010

by Dave Usher

Nationality - English

Position - Left winger

Club Hons (Lpool) -

Tom followed in the footsteps of his dad - former skipper Paul - by representing Liverpool at first team level, but he's a much different kind of player than his old man. Whilst Ince senior was a tough tackling, driving central midfielder, left winger Tom relies much more on pace and trickery.

Tom was at Liverpool a long time, and was a key member of the side that reached the FA Youth Cup Final in 2009. A versatile player, he was used on both wings as well as behind the frontman.

When Roy Hodgson took over in the summer of 2010 he included Tom in the reds' pre-season preparations and also gave him his first team debut against Northampton Town in the League Cup. A loan spell followed at Notts County, where his dad was the manager, and Tom did well initially before returning to Liverpool and spending the rest of the season in the reserves.

In the summer of 2011 he was allowed to join Blackpool on a permanent deal and enjoyed an impressive first season with the Championship club, helping them reach the playoff final at Wembley where he scored in a defeat to Reading.
