They've only been filming for about two weeks, so I'm surprised this has been put out now. Especially when you consider how secretive Nolan is over these things.

Having said that, best to beat the knobheads who want to leak every little thing and spoil it for everyone.

Really cannot wait for this.

Can't start looking forward to this yet, it's just too far away for me to get into. Am almost praying they don't do the usual trilogy thing though and fuck the last film up. This could go down as the greatest comic book trilogy ever and it deserves to, just hope they've done it right.

Will Nolans trilogy end with Bane breaking the Batman?

If, IF, those virals are real then it seems to be setting up for that outcome with the Arkham Asylum breakout.

With Hugo Strange, Catwoman and Bane it looks set up for a version of the Prey storyline but maybe they're going to go for a big finish and incorporate parts of Knightfall and have Bane defeat Batman. It would be a unique way to finish off a trilogy having the hero beaten, although whether Warner Brothers would want to restrict whoever they line up for the next batch of films by having them have to deal with the fallout of the last film is probably doubtful.

There was some talk of a tv series to fill in untill they get another director/cast set up for more films after this one.The Bane storyline could be a god way too leave it as it can leave a opening for the TV series or films about Azrael

It's got potential to be an absolutely outstanding TV show if it was done right. Imagine Batman getting The Shild/Sopranos/Wire HBO treatment? The thought makes me moist.

The last thing I'd want to see is another fucking film reboot though. They're doing that with Spiderman, takes the piss.

Warner Bros were originally thinking of doing a show based upon Bruce Wayne's travels around the world, learning the skills required to become the world's greatest detective. When Batman Begins went into pre-production it got shelved and they developed Smallville instead.

A TV series of Gotham Central had also been mooted - think NYPD Blue but with supervillains and fleeting glimpses of Batman - but got dropped after Warners' experience with the Birds of Prey show.
