If City win the Cup and finish 5th then City will take the place through the Cup and Spurs will get the place through the league.

Cheers. I want to finish as high as possible and I know we exist to win things but the Europa is just a pile of shite. So many games in a shit format and league fixtures changed all over the place until the semi's its a chore of a tournament, I'd make it our youth in Europe tournament.

Was very, very tempted to autoplay this but some of you pussies would cry about it, so I resisted the urge.

A Chase and Dave knees-up on a Tuesday afternoon? Who could resist... :P

I want a will-sapping, red-card filled, demoralising 0-0 draw, tonight. That way, we go into Sunday's game still ahead of Spurs, and still with a chance of 4th.

Ideal scenario....

Spurs win tonight.

City win the cup final, but it's a controversial win and a bad tempered game in which Stoke feel they've been screwed.

We twat Spurs.

Stoke go to City desperate for revenge after what happened at Wembley and hold them to a draw (Stoke winning the cup would be terrible for us as they'd get the deck chairs out for the final couple of games).

We beat Villa and Bolton hold City to a draw, meaning we get 4th due to a superior goal difference.

I think Stoke winning the cup is the best scenario for us. If they lose they know they will only qualify for Europa if Man City finish in a champions league place, so they'd throw the game at city.

I guess I'd prefer a draw tonight. Much as I hate Man City in this obscene form they've become, I wouldn't be at all surprised if they were to self-destruct next season. Spurs and 'Arry, on the other hand, deserve to be bombed out of Europe.

Agree with this. City aren't invincible by any means, and I'm sure the Stoke players would like nothing more than beating the millionaires from Manchester twice.

Stoke are in much better form than City too from what Ive seen of them lately.

Not a chance of finishing fourth, miracles happen very few times and we had ours six years ago.

No we will finish 5th.

I think city will win tonight and quite comfortably, Spurs on the other hand have imploded, it is a north london thing.

This has 0-0 written all over it, both teams very careful not to commit too many people going forward. Suspect City will be pleased with 0-0 too, as they are probably (more) confident of picking up a win in the next two games.

Fuck that was close from Modric!

Lennon doing some damage on the right...

Oh dear, Crouchie horrible og...

Edit. Spurs chances actually got better at the same time, as Palacios has to go off. How shit has he become?
