I watched the final episode of The Trump Snow on BBC2 last night and he actually believes he was put in the position of president by God. Probably to do with all the right wing preachers he’s surrounded himself with.

Well worth a watch The Trump Show for those who haven’t seen it, it basically documents the lunacy of the last four years with a reminder of events and witness testimony from people who worked with him like Sean Spicer, Bannon, Bolton etc, and reporters who have covered him throughout those years. The star of the show though is Stormy Daniels who is the one opponent Trump was unable to intimidate.

Yeah I 'enjoyed' it as well - the religious nut job was terrifying. They'll forgive him anything personally as long as he continues to rig the deck for them in terms of the Supreme Court and other policies. Absolute faustian pact - he's as far away from their apple pie view of Christianity as one can get, but he gives them what they want so he's the one person they apply the "hate the sin, love the sinner" rhetoric to. Found it interesting just how much shit he's done that I've forgotten about in the course of the sheer volume of heinous and insane shit he comes out with all the time. Like, remember when he redrew the path of a hurricane so it went to Alabama and made everyone play along with it just so he didn't look wrong? Or spent his first week arguing the toss about the size of his inauguration crowd? Genuine proof that the best way to get away with bad shit is to just keep doing it week on week and your opponents can't keep up.

Also the guy from the NSC who said he'd be like Churchill if Churchill went "all my generals are shit, the Germans will probably just get bored and fuck off elsewhere - oh and don't worry about the bombing, carry on with your normal routine" was funny as fuck. And you're right - there's more stones on Stormy Daniels than there is in the entire Republican party combined.

I desperately, desperately hope he loses - and to a historic degree. He's a fucking entitled, spoiled cunt who's never had to face the consequences of anything he's done because of his (inherited) money and the insulation that brings him. The meltdown he'll have if he realises he's out, he's lost and there's fuck all he can do about it; you'd be able to see it from space. I just want to move on from this era of dominance for the permanently outraged.

Cheers- hopefully there'll be a lot of Republican donors pissed off that they won't be making their money back if Biden gets in.

On a related note, how utterly obscene that you need to raise that sort of cash to run for president. No wonder the country's so corrupt.

Kanye West was gonna run for it and planned to raise the money by flooding pictures of his birds vag but that plan failed when he realised everyones already seen it.

It'd cost too much in bandwidth as well.

I imagine a lot of the Republican donors will do just fine under Biden.

Probably stole it themselves knowing the game is up.

As someone incisively put it on Twitter, they should check the local car dealerships.

I doubt he does actually believe that. In fact I doubt he really believes in God at all. It's all pandering to the Christian voters.

Donny has gone mad... He's up to 1000% matching now. I've had about 10 emails off the cunts today.

That's just a fucking big scam. Where does it say they will times any donation by 1000% of in dollars.

Increase your impact could be twisted to mean anything they want. There is no fucking way he, or anyone connected with him are stumping up that kind of mark up on donations.

Interesting you mention that mate. He's been spamming me for 12 months. Up until 23rd October his mails always said the contribution was matched (well the ones I bothered to look at). Since then, he's changed the phrase from match to this xxx% impact. Which obviously doesn't quite mean the same.

The Village People classic, YMCA, is regularly played at Donald Trump's campaign rallies - with the US president often seen dancing to it.

But the disco group's lead singer, Victor Willis, told BBC World News America that he does not endorse Mr Trump - and has even asked him to stop playing their music.

Can they not find a couple decent tunes by artists that support him? What about all these rappers coming out of the woodwork - throw some Ice Cube on at one these shindigs.

I'm sure his fellow NWA wouldn't mind Trump coming on to Straight Outta Compton, and finishing with a nice boogie to Fuck Tha Police. If not, maybe just go with No Vaseline.

Tonight @ 9:00 pm on BBC 2

Totally Under Control: Trump and Covid-19

Filmed during lockdown, this investigative documentary made by Academy Award® winning filmmaker Alex Gibney (Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room), with co-directors Ophelia Harutyunyan and Suzanne Hillinger, includes revealing testimonies from public health officials and senior White House staff, exposing a system-wide collapse. With the US election just around the corner, the film scrutinises the US response compared with South Korea, and how they handled the virus. On January 20th, 2020 both countries discovered their first cases of Covid-19. Since then, however, the novel Coronavirus has claimed the lives of over 220,000* Americans, while only claiming 447* lives in South Korea (*at the time of publication). It will be a generation before we know the full extent of the damage wrought by this pandemic, but Totally Under Control: Trump and Covid-19 will stand as the definitive account of the Trump’s administration’s strongly criticised response in the face of this global pandemic.

I think I started watching that on Kodi the other night. I’m not 100% sure because I fell asleep after about 30 seconds. There were a few recent pro-Trump ones on there under the Movies>Documentary section of the usual add-ons too.

This is going to get messy, isn't it?

'Axios, citing three anonymous sources, is reporting that Donald Trump plans to ignore the actual results of the election and declare victory if the early results show him “ahead.”

Trump has privately talked through this scenario in some detail in the last few weeks, describing plans to walk up to a podium on election night and declare he has won.

For this to happen, his allies expect he would need to either win or have commanding leads in Ohio, Florida, North Carolina, Texas, Iowa, Arizona and Georgia.

In response to a request for comment, Trump campaign’s communications director, Tim Murtaugh, told Axios: “This is nothing but people trying to create doubt about a Trump victory. When he wins, he’s going to say so.”'

To be honest, the circus that surrounds him is fascinating. I find it compulsive viewing. I watch loads of the live rally stuff and White House press conferences. They're fucking batshit crazy.

If might be funny, if it wasn't for the tens of thousands of people dying as a result of the craziness.

    • It will be our fault somehow.      The elected Mayor of Liverpool, Joe Anderson, has been arrested.   The city leader was arrested earlier today by Merseyside Police along with four other men in connection with offences of bribery and witness intimidation as part of an investigation into building and development contracts in Liverpool. Detectives made arrests at addresses throughout the city as well as Ormskirk and Southport.  The arrests are part of "an ongoing investigation", police said today.   Confirming the details of the arrests police said the following five people had been arrested: A 72-year-old man, from Aigburth, has been arrested on suspicion of witness intimidation. A 62-year-old man, from Old Swan has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit bribery and witness intimidation. A 33-year-old man, from West Derby, has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit bribery and witness intimidation. A 46-year-old man, from Ainsdale, has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit bribery and witness intimidation. A 25-year-old man, from, Ormskirk, has been arrested on suspicion of witness intimidation. The ECHO understands that the 62-year-old man arrested is the directly elected Mayor of Liverpool Joe Anderson.   The Labour Party politician has led the city since 2010 and has been Mayor since 2012. Last year he secured the Labour Party selection to run to be Mayor of the city for a third term at May's delayed elections. A Liverpool City Council spokesperson said: “Liverpool City Council is co-operating with Merseyside Police in relation to its ongoing investigation. We do not comment on matters relating to individuals.”
