From Guardian, Trump at CPAC :

Quote

He then took aim at a Democratic proposal to tackle climate change by adopting a sweeping “Green New Deal”, attacked by Republicans as expensive and bound to curtail cars and planes. He said sarcastically: “I think the new green deal, or whatever the hell they call it. The Green New Deal, right? I encourage it. I think it’s really something that they should promote.”

To laughter, Trump continued, mockingly: “No planes. No energy. When the wind stops blowing, that’s the end of your electric. ‘Let’s hurry up. Darling, darling, is the wind blowing today? I’d like to watch television, darling.’”

The crowd erupted in cheers and applause.

Bunch of caveman cunts. How fucking stupid would you have to be to believe what he says there? Maybe in a similar way to him hoping Dems promote it, we should hope he keeps attacking it. It could be another thing that makes sure he leaves office after his first term.

I find this quite depressing, to be honest. As it is over here, it’s all about convincing people to look down, and not up.

Me too and I see little chance it will change. Climate change will make it worse as richer countries will seek to slam the door on mass migration.

This is one of the only things giving me any sense of hope right now. I don't care what his supposed chances are or how many are going to be trying to take him down. I'm just going to believe he can do it and then not take part in bombing countries or destroying them with sanctions if he's elected.
