Just to reiterate what a dangerous and evil cunt this is.

The Trump administration has laid out plans to boost US defence spending by $54bn (£44bn) while slashing funding for foreign aid.

The federal government budget plan will be submitted to Congress on Thursday.

The state department, which oversees foreign affairs, faces a budget cut of about 28%.

And the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is in line for cuts to programmes President Trump does not agree with, such as climate change and renewables.

These include initiatives intended to bring the US into line with its Paris Agreement climate deal obligations.

The EPA could be cut by 31%, the New York Times reported.

The increase in defence spending will be recouped through deep cuts elsewhere, the BBC understands.

The defence department budget will be boosted by 10%, and homeland security will get a 6% boost.

The budget will include a $1.5bn request for pilot schemes to determine construction methods and locations for Mr Trump's promised wall between the US and Mexico.

The White House wants a 30% cut from an energy department office that promotes energy efficiency and renewable energy.

The energy department could see steep cuts for its 17 national laboratories, which conduct research into subjects including nuclear power and advanced materials for energy generation, storage and use.

There will also be a complete cut to funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the largest source of public broadcasting funding in the US.

The budget, known as a "skinny budget", will be limited to the $1tn portion of the $4tn annual federal budget that pays for US agencies and departments.

The remainder of Mr Trump's budget, which will include proposals on taxes, mandatory spending and deficits and projections on the economy, will not come out until May.

(Bear in mind that, even before these increases, the US military budget is already larger than the combined budgets of the next 12 biggest spenders.)

He hasn't tweeted yet so must be busy doing more important stuff like spraying his quiff with contact adhesive

It turns out that his temporary absence from Twitter was due to a speech he was giving in Nashville.  And in the process, making his travel ban situation worse.

In it's judgement the Hawaiian court cited Giuliani's comments that Trump intended to implement a Muslim ban, and asked him to make it legal, and also cited Stephen Millers' comments that Ban 2.0 was essentially the same as Ban 1.0.  As Trump has now ramped up the rhetoric in his speech, referring to Islamist fundamentalists, he's essentially provided more evidence for the appeals court to conclude that the ban is religiously motivated and breaches the First Amendment.

Remember Pizzagate and the conspiracy that the whole Democrat party ran a massive pedophile ring through hidden codes in Podesta's emails? Well it turns out it's the Trump campaign that was harbouring pedophiles after all.

I'm not defending someone who's probably a typical scumbag twat of a Republican, but I don't think that's accurate. This is from NBC :

MOORE, OK (KFOR/CNN) - Police are investigating an incident at a Super 8 Motel between Republican State Sen. Ralph Shortey and a teenage boy.

District Attorney Greg Mashburn said the boy is 16 or 17 years old, and that is the age of consent in Oklahoma.

It seems a lot of people in the US are in despair over Trump's budget.  The arts, science, education, diplomacy and humanitarian budgets all getting heavily slashed.  The right wing, racist neanderthal agenda is in full swing.

Trump giving an interview in which he cites an article in the New York Times on the 20th January to back up his claim that Obama wiretapped him at Trump Tower.

This is in-between calling the NYT 'failing' and 'fake news' in the very same interview.

To cap it all people going over the NYT piece in question confirm it never once mentions Trump or Trump Tower.

It's like watching a US remake of Oh No, It's Selwyn Froggitt, except Trump isn't well-meaning or good natured, and his fucking bumbling has very real-world consequences.

It mentions Trump regularly, it never mentions Trump Tower though. You can see the wiretap part here that started it off in the print edition :

And the article is online here from the 19th, with the other mention of wiretapping, where it states : "One official said intelligence reports based on some of the wiretapped communications had been provided to the White House." Again though, no mention of Trump Tower : https://www.nytimes.com/2017/01/19/us/politics/trump-russia-associates-investigation.html?_r=0

Grasping at straws again, RP? Nowhere, I repeat nowhere, does it say that any of Trump's communications have been intercepted, nor has a wiretap been placed on Trump Tower.  His allegation that Obama had ordered him to be wiretapped is nonsense.  The fact that some of the intelligence was passed to the White House does not mean any investigation originated at the request of the White House.

Your post was semantics.

I'm not grasping at anything, was actually trying to help. You gave no indication of where you got your info from and stated that the NY Times article never once mentioned Trump, when it did several times. That's not grasping at straws or semantics.

I'm not defending Trump on this and actually thought it'd be more useful if anyone else here could see the actual original sources instead from the NY Times. If you remember I also said twice that it never once mentioned Trump Tower, so you were right about that part.

Anyway, this other story could also play into the whole Trump Tower and/or wiretap story and it's a long running thing that started during the election last year. It's a bit more complicated to explain easily though so will just add a link for anyone interested : FBI probing server connection between Trump Organization and Russian bank first reported in October

Here's Clinton tweeting about it too, with a statement from her campaign : https://twitter.com/HillaryClinton/status/793250312119263233

Trump's tweet was probably just another example of him making a twat of himself on twitter, but I do think there's other parts to this story and I'm not sure if we'll ever know the whole truth about what actually happened or the extent of the surveillance involved.

Remember the wall he was going to build that'll be paid for by Mexico? Well guess who's paying for the wall? ....The American taxpayer.

And you know how he's paying for it? By cutting projects like meals on wheels (which addresses hunger and isolation amongst the elderly by bringing them food) and housing assistance (a government funded program which helps low income families, the elderly and the disabled find housing)

Found via here : http://kfor.com/2017/03/16/oklahoma-state-senator-ralph-shortey-turns-himself-in-after-being-charged-with-engaging-in-child-prostitution/

Fucking strange laws there. It's classed as child prostitution because the guy was under 18, yet the legal age is 16. Erm, what? So according to that definition, having sex with someone 16 or 17 is child sex? That's some fucking backwards logic they have going on there.

And no I'm not fucking defending any of it, just think that's a bizarre way of applying the law.

In the U.K., up until 1994 you had to be 21 to have a consensual sexual relationship between two men. It was lowered to 18 in 1994, and then 16 in 2001 to bring it into line with heterosexual age of consent.

It's not like our shit doesn't stink in this regard (no pun intended).

The age of consent isn't what bothers me so much, it's more the classing of prostitution as "child" prostitution in that case. I thought that it'd make more sense to just class it as prostitution once the person involved is at or over the age of consent, and only make it child prostitution if the person is younger than whatever age it is.

People in Oklahoma are ok to have sex with people aged 16 or over and they're not paedos, but that guy will be now be known as a paedo because of the child prostitution charge, even though the person was 16 or 17? Just think it's messed up really.

tl:dr : if someone is at or over the age of consent, I don't think they should be classed as a child.

Looks like it's not the only issue they have problems with. From a Minnesota Uni Law Journal paper :

“When the police are out on a sting and catch a pimp with his fourteen year old prostitute, they will consider her a victim of trafficking. Hypothetically, the police can arrest the same girl for the crime of prostitution. It’s totally inconsistent. How can this girl be a victim and offender at the same time for the same thing?”

In almost all fifty states, a minor’s selling of him or herself for sex, or prostitution, is a criminal offense. By contrast, the federal Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA) considers all minors engaged in commercial sex acts as victims of trafficking. This inconsistency presents a problem because at the same time, federal and state statutes regarding prostitution do not distinguish between adult and child prostitution and criminalize both.

I guess there's a fair bit of difference in consensual sex between two teenagers and a 50 year old bloke paying a 17 year old rent boy for the same. Which is why the law struggles in those types of areas.
