I read an article about the inauguration being a really boring process. Each state has a sealed package containing the result of their votes. As these are already known it is just retreading old ground. This time Trump's team is going to be contesting every readout making the process a right ballache for them. 

 

The way I understand it is the result is not under any threat as part of this process, it will just make what should be a tedious process way more dramatic.
