Dickhead who gave $2.5 million to a group grifting looking to expose election fraud now wants his money back. Makes you wonder how these morons made their money in the first place.

Rudy Giuliani has discussed the possibility with President Trump that Giuliani could receive a presidential pardon, according to a report in The New York Times.

The Times reported Tuesday that the two men had the pardon discussion as recently as last week, though the newspaper said it is not clear who first raised the matter. It reported the two discussed the possibility of Trump preemptively pardoning Giuliani, who has not been charged with any crimes.

And in completely unrelated news:

The Department of Justice (DOJ) is investigating a potentially criminal scheme involving paying a bribe to people either in or affiliated with the White House in exchange for an unknown person receiving a presidential pardon, according to court documents that were unsealed Tuesday.

The court records, which were unsealed by  the District Court for the District of Columbia, says the DOJ investigation involves two people, whose names are redacted, who were improperly acting as lobbyists to secure the pardon for a person whose name is also redacted. The plot involved the person offering “a substantial political contribution in exchange for a presidential pardon or reprieve of sentence.”

How does a pre-emotive pardon for unspecified crimes work? Does Giuliani effectively have a “get out of jail” card that he can use for any federal crime?

My understanding was that you essentially plead guilty to a crime and are then pardoned for said crime. But they just seem to make it up as they go along.
