According to John Oliver, Trump is getting more into One America News Network these days - Fox are just too left-wing and ask too many challenging questions for his liking.

Fuck sake. I stopped looking for new episodes of John Oliver after he said they were going on hiatus for an unspecified amount of time. Turns out they only skipped one week so I’ve just caught up on the last four after seeing your post. Nice one.

The daily press briefing was jibbed today and the press invited to attend this meeting so they could see him working.

Apparently he’s got the hump because it’s been suggested he spends all morning from 5am to midday in bed watching the news channels, then pitches up to the Oval Office at lunchtime in a foul mood because of he doesn’t like how he’s been portrayed on the news.

@Ne Moe Imya If McConnell thinks it will cost them a majority in the Senate they will flush Trump faster than he has let Giulani spin down the drain.

And so it begins:

Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell is suggesting Trump should shorten his White House briefings.

Asked by the Washington Post whether the White House should shorten the briefings, the Republican Senate leader said that was “probably a good idea.”

Senate majority whip John Thune similarly said the briefings should focus on exerpertise from public health officials like Dr Anthony Fauci.

“I would say for any politician that you know, on a subject like this, you definitely want to give the experts the microphone and the platform as much as possible,” Thune said.

Isn't that what they are doing anyway? After all, nobody knows more about any given topic than Donald Trump.
