Me mams husband has been diagnosed with T4 nodular melanoma.

He’s being booked in for a sentinel lymph node biopsy to see if it’s spread to vital organs.

Mixed news.

Scan shows it’s in Gra’s lymphatic system, but only showing in one node (at the moment) in his breast.

He’ll be booked in for urgent surgery to remove the lymph node and then 12 months Immunotherapy.

They’ll rescan after surgery and hope it’s not spread anywhere else.

Never funny this.

And even the funniest fall.

Norm Macdonald, one of my all-time favourite comedians, dead at 61.

9 years with cancer.

RIP.

Makes that joke he does about alcoholism all the more poignant doesn’t it? He refers to his friend having cancer and some of the symptoms, but was probably talking about himself. Proper funny guy - sadly missed.

@lifetime fan - Sounds like your mum’s fella has got a fighting chance there Col. All the best to you all mate

@VERBAL DIARRHEA - crossing everything for you and the mrs mate. Bet you can’t wait to get her back home and sorted

Thanks mate - he’s been booked in for surgery this Thursday, so they’re not hanging about.

A really good friend of mine in Australia has been having BCCs cut off his nose and face for years, lots of small ones every year. After his latest check up this year he got shunted through a load of specialists because he has major problems now. Fortunately now he has to go through a major teaching Hospital on the Gold coast rather than being turned away in New South Wales because they're chock a block with covid patients.

He will require 20 hours of surgery shared between 3 specialist surgeons, losing his nose, his cheek and part of his jaw and having them recreated by plastic surgeons and then needing radiation therapy.

Poor cunt doesn't deserve this.

My Mrs operation on Thursday was more complicated apparently so she was due out today now it’s Thursday, standard practice. They knew it was standard practice on Thursday yet here am I waiting to go to Manchester only to be told no. Sorry to sound ungrateful but after last year I’m pissed off. Will visit later though as I suddenly can.

Feel for you mate, it's obviously not what you wanted, but safety first.

3 more sleeps mate and you'll be there.

Yep what Harrys Lad said. All precautions needed, she'll be home in no-time.
