Sorry to hear it Ted.

The wife just lost an old friend to breast cancer, she was only 50. One of the nicest, most generous people I've ever met. I only met her twice but each time I felt like I'd known her for years. Cancer can fuck right off, the cunt.

One of my best mates died yesterday, to this.

He had 3 tumours removed from his brain, which they controlled then it got into his bones.

Was in a hospice since xmas.

Only 35. Leaves two kids, 8 & 5.

Lost a cousin and then my mate, within the last 12 months.

C*nt of a disease.

  • 2 weeks later...

He's hanging in there. Feel like his health cant get worse before death but then it does He's on morphine now, bit confused but lucid. Coughing up black stuff ( he's never smoked) .

He was buzzing about the barca result though. He told my sister night before we would win 4-0.

Works a stress trying balance time off and time in. I work in retail management, interesting to see how selfless some are and others are the opposite

Big hugs to everybody affected by this despicable disease.

Fight like fuck, never give in, life is just too precious, we owe it too ourselves and to one another to squeeze every single last drop out of the sucker.

We all are gonna go at some time, make it count.

Coming to the end now.  He's on end of life medication. He looks worse than a concentration camp victim looks about 5 stone( I know that's insensitive)

Off work anyway this week. He's still conscious quite confused.  Bit fed up

My Auntie looked like that as she neared the end. Fucking horrible. Be strong mate, all the best.

Sorry to hear this mate. It's so horrible it's even hard for your head to take in. Kind of surreal. Look after yourself.

This.

And I hope all those who care and support get all the care and support they deserve as well. You can be brave, having cancer, but the bravery of family, friends and professional carers astounds me.
