As has been said previously Warrior are an unkown brand here in the uk. In the us however they are huge they have had the NHL franchise for 5 seasons until Nike took over.

The main worry i see people have is are FSG any good?

Let me allay some fears. FSG own the Boston Redsox. Not the tampa bay devilrays or the Texas Rangers but Baseballs second biggest franchise. MLB would not let a bunch of cowboys own their 2nd biggest franchise. They allow cowboys like our previous owners to own expansion teams but not the bigboys.

To be allowed to own the Redsox Henry had to prove and guarantee billions of dollars of investment. Over here football fans dont get how big Baseball is. I've followed baseball now for over 10 years and even the small clubs in the majors generate upwards of 100m per season.

Boston has a wagebill of 15om per year and makes a lot of profit in the process.

The premier league may not check who is buying its clubs but believe me MLB does. FSG wont make promises for Liverpool it cant keep as negative publicity over here impacts over there. We are in safe reliable hands and moving forward

They're really not huge in USA

Baseball is popular here true. You mean even the small clubs have revenue of over $100m per season. The Redsox' operating income is about $40m which is about £25m, this is before interest and taxes etc.

Other than that, welcome to the forum.

I love The Acolyte accusing people of thinking 'small' because New Balance are world-renowned makers of running shoes like 'Asics and Mizuno'

I don't even know what point he's trying to make. That they're actually a massive brand with the distribution network and spending power of Nike Or Adidas, except nobody realises this except people who run?

Because that's just fucking bullshit. They're a small niche, unknown brand and that's the main reason we've got them to spend such a huge amount of cash. And that is the ONLY positive they bring to this deal, and anyone who claims otherwise is delusional.

The point I was making was that they are specialists in running shoes, have a good reputation and are now branching out and as someone else pointed out, it didn't hurt Nike did it.

It is a massive gamble for them more than us as once your rep is mullered in that industry it'll take a generation to repair. The fact we are their only football client is great for us as they might actually listen to our wants and needs. Actually how well they do in this deal is dependent in their interaction with us and how we deal with them. Just thank our lucky stars Parry isn't still here!

The most ridiculous part of this thread is that many people, myself included, thought tooth was serious. That his argument seemed even remotely in the realm of actual debate says something about the mong invasions this forum has endured recently.

Couldnt you see mypost defending a point like that to the bitter end?

Gotta confess I even negged him after the first two posts. Not my finest hour.

Our home shirts are always pretty original designs. No one has a shirt like our home shirt with the background pattern this year. The aways can sometime be generic but I think this years away and the new one have been really nice.

If I'm honest, the background patterning and so on is what pisses me off about a lot of footy shirts, I'd much rather have a simple, plain design.

Memo to Warrior: This is LFC's kit from 1968-1973. Start with this and don't do much to it:

As long as it doesn't end up as some blinged-up piece of shit with gold stars and fucking tinsel all over it, we'll be OK.

Why do I bother?

3 Negs so far, is this RAWK here or TLW?

Too many people showing exactly the po-faced attitudes that you're parodying dennis my man.

After the season we have just had and without Europe next season I would need some convincing that we still would be fourth in a few years. Especially when I am gambling with 100m

I seriously dont think anyone else has got the global fanbase to catch up...if it was based upon short term success /failure then Chelsea would have overtaken us

So their logo is the lower legs and left hand of a naked man bending over, as seen under a bog cubicle door?

Great.

I'm sure psychoanalysts would pay good money to spend time with you and some Rorschach tests.

You're probably right.

I saw this Audi billboard in Bootle the other day, and while it's meant to represent 'WiFi in your car', all I saw was someone pulling their arsecheeks apart.
