GOT all cock-a-hoop that they will be suing the PL for damages, when in fact the whole shareholder loan thing is likely to damage them.

Hasn't the whole moshiri loan been interest free? And that's about £450m? And their market value for loans is clear, because of the 10-20% they've been paying across various other bits of outstanding debt. My guess though, it will be pretty difficult to retrospectively add loans as part of PSR, just they can only do it going forward.

Wouldn't they in essence be suing themselves???

You've got to admire the blues, honestly. Standing up for the little man against the cabal.

Even when the little man is a nation state whose wealth is almost exclusively from oil and gas and they themselves are a participating, voting rights holding, proud to exclaim founding member of the cabal.

They are the epitome of corinthian spirit.

Went to the Taipan Chinese supermarket on Blackstone St. this morning and its carpark has been festooned with NCP car park signs and covered up ticket machines. Presumably the rest of the area is being checked to ensure there will be no cheap or free car parking spots for the new ground.

The delusion is strong with this one. The most iconic stadium in world football. He's Evertons Echo correspondent as well.

To be honest, I was expecting it to end up like the nou mestalla - it's quite a mircale to think they've somehow managed to build a stadium on the corporate equivalent of pay day loans. It could be another first for them.

Honestly I think it's mediocre to hell and it will never be iconic because it's Everton an average club. Plus it cost the City it's Unesco heritage status which let's be 100 percent honest if it was LFC who cost the city that Everton fans would never let it go.

Its up their with the stadium of light, london stadium, and all the other small average clubs that have had new stadiums over the years and who themselves are still small average clubs as the new stadium has had zero impact on them and the same will go for the tesco value ground.

Jesus wept, it's just a stadium.

Even if it was the most super duper stadium ever created, it's still located in an area without the infrastructure to cope with it and perhaps most of all, it will be filled with Everton.

The notion that it will be some transformative boost for their actual playing of football and that players will be fighting to sign for them because of a build by numbers stadium is as fanciful as it is laughable.

Good luck to them.

Anfield

Wembley

Old Trafford

San Siro

Nou Camp

Bernabeu

Mestella

River Plate Stadium

Bombonera

Maracana

Marakana (Red  Star Belgrade)

Berlin Olympic stadium

Dortmund

There's a few off the top of my head that are more iconic that Evertons new stadium. I've included OT even though it's a dump at the moment but people around the world see it as an iconic stadium. The reason why these are iconic is because of the history of the place and things that have happened there. A few have been redeveloped but spiritually they are the same place.

They invent all the angst against it as well.

“Aaaaarrrgggghhh you’re jealous as fuck lad”

”I’m not arsed mate good on you. Area needed redevelopment anyway so fair play”

”See you can’t even say it can you! Aaaaagggghhhh another soft kopite cunt jealous as usual. Your heads fell off hahahaaaaahhhh!”

“We’ve still got a bigger capacity mate”

”Aaaaarrrrgggghhhhh murderin cunt!!!!!”

What is supposed to be iconic about it? Is it because its by the Mersey?

Its not like its the first stadium in the World built close to water.
