i think that has been his thing all along hasn't it? He fell out with dancer and blitzer a while back. they have both tried to buy each other out. i think his sale of his shares can also be vetoed by any of parish, harris and blitzer - so they can fuck him right over.

If I have his right, Textor owns 40% but only has 25% voting rights and the other lads can vetoe anything he tries to do. Presumably any sale he tries to complete will be offering the same terms?

This lad doesn't appear to be the best negotiator from across the pond.

If the stories divert the fans for 2 or 3 days of the window, it wiit have worked well for the cleverest guys in any room.

I, for one, would be horrified if FSG were spreading stories about a big-money transfer that's never going to happen.

This is interesting regarding his ownership of Lyon from L’Equipe, the whole squad are up for sale as they need to generate €100m. Are Everton about to leap out of the frying pan and into the fire?

They've done this frying pan to the fire to the furnace. Next stop, the fiery pits of hell, Textor leading them to the Championship.

Winter league fixtures at BMD.

I remember a game of ours back in the 60s against Cologne (the tie eventually settled by the toss of a casino chip) when it started snowing heavily while I was on my way to the ground. The officials called it off shortly before kickoff time and they announced to the fairly sizeable crowd to wait while they printed chits for the rescheduled game. The kop had a snowball fight vs the rest of the crowd on the pitch. When the tickets were ready, half the Kop got themselves upgrades by leaving through the paddock.

Sigh, sounds like a different world mate.

They will get a steady run of home games around November or early February and win a couple then be safe. But they will get carried away and start talking about European places and bearing us in a Derby. They get ahead of themselves then fail spectacularly.
