People always used to say the good old days of the derby have been ruined by the younger generations but the old ones are properly bitter and probably get worse every year with the Heysel stuff because it's a convenient excuse for them being shit.

More likely the young ones are now the old ones !

30 year countdown to May 2025. They've spent a fortune and had PL money since its inception in 1992 but they still tell.everyone what a massive club they are.

Portsmouth, Birmingham and Swansea have won more than them in the last 29 years.

Blackburn and Leicester won a title

Leicester,Villa,Blackburn,Boro,Birmingham,Swansea, League Cups

Portsmouth,Wigan FA Cups

2016 to the end of the 2023/24 season

Since the summer of 2016, the Blues have spent a total of £639 million on transfer fees while receiving £322 million. Klopp's side, on the other hand, have spent £569 million, £70 millioon less than that of their neighboirs, while receiving £439 million.

The Toffees have had a net spend of £317 million, which is more than double of Liverpool's £157 million.

Spent close to a billion since 1995 and all they have to show for it is a Champions League qualifiers loss and a losing FA Cup final

They are wrong again it would seem.

Hooper appeared unable to watch a replay of the incident on the main pitchside monitor at Goodison Park, but the Premier League has confirmed a back-up screen was available to the referee, and so he did watch footage of the passage of the play in question before confirming his decision

tbf I was watching the game with my bloo daughter and he deffo didn't see another screen

TBF the right decision was made so who gives a fuck?

The only thing I care about with that nonsense is that it'll be quite funny when the screen breaks next time and they have a totally different contingency plan...

I agree right decision was made but we should certainly give a fuck because it will be us on the receiving end at some point

Who’s buying? Is anyone that desperate for a one in twenty striker?

Could see Bournemouth having a look at him. It’s not really his fault he’s a 1 in 20 striker. More often the not he’s about 20 years from his nearest teammate up front on his own.
