As for that list, it's fucking comical. If that has any edge on reality, we can get 200m got Nunez and another 80m for endo.

I dont think they've actually paid anything for Beto have they, yet they can sell him.  Didn't they do a strange deal where they got him free for a year - a deal that they were lauding at the time

Yes, they start paying for him this summer once we're in the next financial year. I don't know how much they have to pay this year, but as he was about £25m all in, he signed a 4 year deal, you'd think they need to get it paid over the next 2 summers.

I've not seen Branthwaite play this season, the last time I watched him was when he was on loan at Blackburn and I thought he was almost comically bad that day. He might look good in a Dycheball team when the centre half is under orders to simply clear his lines but few PL teams play that way. Can Branthwaite play as a footballing centre half or will he be like Michael Keane was when he moved to Everton and his weaknesses were horribly exposed?

Unfortunately I watch a lot of their games but I think he’s decent. He wouldn’t start here but he’d be a good option to have. Looks like he learnt a lot on loan (PSV was it?) and him and Tarkowski have been pretty solid.

Its very difficult to judge a defender that plays in a 'low block' system.  Probably the best example of this was John Terry.  As much of a cunt he is, he was a top class defender for Chelsea when they played deep compact syatem, once he was asked to defend 20 yards further up the pitch he looked completely lost and exposed.  Maguire is another example also.  Not saying the lad won't be a success elsewhere its just difficult to say for certainty.

I felt Terry was lucky to have Ricardo Carvalho covering him when they were at their most dominant.

What the absolute beaut who made that fantasy post with those prices on it fails to realise is 1. They'll be lucky to get a third of the prices he has posted 2. If they were to sell all or even most of that lot, they'd finish in the bottom 3 next season.

Over on GOT they’re already talking like they’ll be restricted to loans and out of contract players, with the odd link to older players in the £3m-£5m range.

Meanwhile…

Yeah, but what about the derby performance?

Once all the dust has settled if i was a shite supporter i'd be asking the question where is that sort of effort and application week in week out...

Sheeds, Ratters and Snods replaced by Doucs, Tarks and Branners.

They love the sycophantic, matey familiarity with their players don’t they.

Bezzy mates aren’t they, like the players give a fuck.

Yet moan about people saying "Trent".

Tarks sounds like someone from a bad wool stag do.
