Steve0 thinks Keane is worth £10 million more than VVD

There's no way even the bitterest blue is that thick, i'm convinced he's a red on the wind up

SteveO is a blue. He knows fair well we're reading his stuff so he posts more and more outrageous stuff. He certainly goes on RAWK to see what they're saying about him because he's mentioned it before. He is getting his kicks out of it the weirdo.

Good job they did not release this news the day before! Sorry I have not stopped laughing yet. EDIT actually noticed one of the pictures has 1 April underneath it.

One of the chief architects behind Everton's new stadium has revealed plans to replicate Borussia Dortmund's 'Yellow Wall'.

American architect Dan Meis of MEIS Architects met with Everton supporters on Monday evening to provide an update to the progress of the plans for a new ground at Bramley-Moore Dock.

He met with fans at St Luke's Church, which is close to Everton's current home of Goodison Park.

Borussia Dortmund's Yellow Wall is 328ft long, 131ft high and holds 25,000 supporters

He said: 'We're planning on creating a very large home end in the south stand of the stadium which should be similar to Dortmund's Yellow Wall'.

'Depending on the final stadium capacity, the stand will hold 12,000-15,000 fans and we also want to include a concourse that will look back at the city, immediately by the home end that would be very cool.'

Meis said he wanted to make Everton's new stadium into a 'fortress', before adding that he wanted the club to have the 'greatest home ground in English football'.

They want to ensure the site, which is on the waterfront, is an iconic landmark for Liverpool

Plans were also unveiled that suggested the Toffees will install the biggest screens ever used at stadiums in the UK.

He also placed an emphasis on making sure that supporters are as close to the action as possible in an attempt to copy the current setting at Goodison Park.

It was also stated that there was a desire from fans to have a stadium that would have the capacity for at least 50,000.

They’re rubbish. Next season they will probably have at least three managers and their back room staff on the payroll, (Koeman, Allardyce and new man) and there’s no guarantee the new man will do well. Maybe they will give him a few bob to spend as that always helps, right?

They are an old team and a proud team, I’ll give them that. And in my footballing memory they definitely had a good side mid 80s, albeit for five minutes. I’m too young to remember their holy trinity, much less Dixie Dean.

Anyway, a proud team, and an old team. But relevant? Nope! Close to being good? Nope! Close to the top six? Nope!

They are on the same level as numerous Prem teams from various provincial towns, only Everton are getting a leg up from a local politician who is obviously serving his constituency well with this nonsense.

Let’s see if they get more than a few drawings, done on a Spectrum computer.

This Dan Meis keeps saying he understands what Everton is all about, and then produces a design that includes a Kop end for home fans - something they've never had at Goodison. Other than that, it basically looks like he's taken a few pics of Goodison and super-imposed some 1990s design cues and then tacked on a massive NFL big screen behind one of the goals.
