*Shakes head* Everton again.

Southampton would be a good fit for him.

Everton are pure fucking muck, there's no way he could get them playing the sort of passing football he likes

When he came to Anfield, he inherited a team with Gerrard, Suarez, Henderson, Sterling, etc.  Something to work on.

What would he have at Goodison?

A couple of Tims I work with saying Rodgers is away in the summer. Rumours he's blue shite bound.

The toffs I've told have said if that happens that's it with their season tickets. Full or half season.

Was only thinking the other day...  I bet he fancies the Chelsea job, wether he gets it is another matter...... hardly got the CV for it.

Here's Andy Hunter, a blue but the Guardian's main LFC reporter, ripping his beloved club to bits.

So Moshiri has loaned them £150m with no fixed repayment date. Can see him on Judge Rinder in a couple of years saying it was a loan and he wants it back now only for Rinder to say but you have no fixed repayment date so it does not need to be repaid yet just because you want it.

Do you get much work on the after-dinner circuit?

Whats he done to warrent higher than Everton?

He has won the most one sided league in Europe. Impressive as not loosing was its a terrible league. He hasn't impressed in Europe.

No issues with the guy but he has hardly the cv to be expecting a top 4 job

People can dismiss Rodgers if they want. I do not get this turning on ex managers. We used to have more class than this. Yeah the owl is an exception.

Have paraphrased the above response for clarity -- he is not on anyones short list at that level

we took a punt and the "group" made him look better than he is/was for a short time. If he has half a brain he will settle into a decade long career at Celtic.

Docky -- anyone who steps across that line is going to be on the end of a hiding from both sides - surely (Shirley) you get that.

Is Rodgers being linked with Prem jobs again? Good luck to him if he is. I always thought he was an innovative coach, but perhaps the Liverpool job came too soon.

Celtic was a good place for him to go. Get back in the game. Big crowd. Rebuild reputation a bit, then come again.

It will be interesting to see what happens, but I’m sure he’ll be back in the Prem before too long. How high up the Prem? Hard to say.

Well he gave us our most comprehensive challenge for the league since 1991! Even in his shit season we finished top six and reached two semi-finals (very unlucky to lose to Chelsea). He has since gone to Celtic and had them playing in the group stages regularly (something they haven't always done).

He is worth better than Everton - not Arsenal (yet). Problem is our league is top 6. And the rest are much of a muchness. He should go abroad, someone like Sevilla would be ideal for him.
