*Shakes head* Everton again.

Money for old rope. Allardyce will keep them up, and so he should. Everton are punching well below their level right now and dragging them up to mid table should be an easy job. But what happens after that?

For many years now Allardyce has shown that he can’t build anything. How long is this contract?

Our Sam. Let that sink in. Our Sam.

WE MUST GET BEHIND OUR SAM

BlueLlama

Whether you see him as a hoof ball dinosaur or as the best man to stop the rot he is now Everton’s new manager.

Petulant booing and Twitter tantrums won’t change this.

So for the sake of our clubs future can you all please do the following:

Don’t boo him tonight.

We need him and his team to stop the rot. This is the most fragile gutless Everton team I’ve seen in 40 years of being a blue. Bed wetting and booing isn’t helping. Get behind them all.

Stop with the Fat jokes.

He is our manager and entitled to start with respect and a clean slate.

Have Patience this is a horribly unbalanced squad.

Give him time to get them organised and confident again. It might not be pretty but it will Work.

Get over yourselves and realise how dire our situation is

Losing 5-1 at home to a team that don’t win away and 4-1 away to a team that don’t score at home. We are diabolical and no one else decent would touch us with a bargepole. Make the best of a bad situation and embrace the man who will keep us up.

Don’t think short term

Palace, West Ham, the Geordies, all got ideas above their station, got rid of him and regretted it. Newcastle went down, the other two are almost as bad as us. This won’t be a fix until the end of the season , accept it and get behind them.

COYB!!

I keep seeing this - but, why?

Pickford, Keane, Williams, Guye, Siggurson, Bolasie, Martina have all come from teams who have consistently fought relegation.

Jagielka, Baines, Rooney, Miralles, Lennon - past it.

Schneiderlin, Klaasen, Ramirez, Vlasic, Besic, - are they any better than average?

Davies, Kenny, Calvert-Lewin, Lookman, Holgate are far from exciting youngsters.

So, that is their team?

That does not look like a team challenging for mid-table, never mind top 4.

At least Martinez spine of Stones, Barry, Barkley and Lukaku was good enough to ensure a top half finish once.

You'll no doubt get the blues trying to pretend that they're not arsed that an ex-Red is their new assistant manager. But, let's not forget that this is the fan base who lost it when their former manager had a speck of red on his Crimbo tree. They'll be fuming inside over the Sammy Lee appointment.

If they do try to play it cool, just remind them that it was Sammy Lee who ran from the dugout onto the Goodison turf in a state of sheer euphoria and delight when Gary Mac slotted in that late free kick at The Pit.
