*Shakes head* Everton again.

I’ll be honest them getting Fat Sam in has me worried about our recent results in the derby.

Yes Everton are bad laughably bad, but that fat twat of a manager has gotten results against us and klopp with similar shit teams and shit tactics.

I’ll be dreading the derby if he’s in charge. Could you imagine the hero status he’d get if he got a win against us!

He averages 0.81 points a game against us, hardly amazing.  I remember a game against Bolton in the Christmas period sometime in the mid 00's where he basically gave up at at 2 down and took his best 3 players off the massive (literally) shithouse.

That is rivallry though, in my lifetime (I’m 47) Everton have been good for about 6 or 7 years and the banter was not always about honours even when both the Clubs were winning stuff. Most rivallries boil down to trivial tit for tat things. Rivallry doesn’t have to come down to honours, obviously it helps like. In the late 80s you’d have still seen petty little arguments about attendances. Its not just modern day. You might not like it but that’s what rivallry is and what it’s all about.

True enough no.9 , the most aggressive rivalry I personally have encountered is Blackburn / Burnley who are not clubs steeped in trophies.

Whilst obviously enjoying our neighbours' discomfort , I think a lot of well-paid pundits are getting away with murder here.

I can't be bothered searching in depth, but I read and saw a load of articles by well-known press & tv journalists in July/August falling over themselves with the highest praise for Everton's transfer business ( I seem to remember Savage giving them a 5/5 before the season started ) & universally suggesting that they would be an upwardly mobile 7th at the very least. Now however these hypocrites have developed a collective amnesia over this and talk amusedly as if Everton's travails were always going to happen & were obvious to any idiot before the season started.

Indeed, they were also on the Red Manc bandwagon at the start of the season, soon changed their tune to Blue Manc.
