Can anyone explain the big 'How many Rupees before we take priority' banner in the Everton end? Moshiri is Iranian, wrong currency. Rupee is India/Pakistan/Nepal/Mauritius. Confused

Game was moved to Sunday for Indian TV

Premier league could have moved it back to a 3pm Saturday but chose not to

If only we knew their history.

The original club of the city.More seasons of top flight football than anyone else. The only ground in Liverpool to host a World Cup semi final. The Holy Trinity and Dixie Dean.Don't you know were the finest team on merseyside oh didn't you know didn't you know didn't you know.

What i did there was i took a Rangers song called oh didn't you know didn't you know and put an Everton slant on it.Seriously if only some of Liverpools supporters truly knew our history as the original footballing force of the city.If only they knew our history.

Everton will be one of the teams to watch this season and could "do a Tottenham" by challenging at the top of the Premier League, says former Toffees captain Phil Neville.

Neville feels the return of Wayne Rooney, and the influx of other new signings, shows the club's ambition.

He said the club must now aim to climb the league like Spurs have in recent seasons with a young side.

"If the window closed today, Everton have done the best business," he said.
