*Shakes head* Everton again.

Koeman doing what a Dutchman does better than most - speaking the plain truth. What he is saying is 100% accurate and true, but they will not like him for it one bit. A lesser man like Moyes would have at least given the toffee fans a bit of toffee, and told them about how Lukaku can fulfil all his dreams at Everton, etc.

Koeman just tells it like it is. He's too good for us!

Magnificent.

Nah. Moyes would have said something like Liverpool have been sniffing round him and even their vast resources won't be able to tempt Lukaku away. He'd also say Everton do everything the right way because they are the Peoples Club and conduct their business with respect. Only to get the easily brainwashed bitters off his back and deflect attention away from his boring negative unambitious football.

What a spectacular own goal.

Yeah, it's the truth, but it would also be truthful to tell your missus that she's looking a bit bloated next time she's on the blob.  Just because it's true doesn't mean you should open your gob and actually say it.

Brilliant week for Everton. Getting twatted 5-0 by Chelsea. Us going top, more fairytale diversion tactics of a new stadium. Roy Keane slagging them off saying they haven't won a trophy for ages and saying they never play in Europe. Then their own manager basically calls them a small club and tells their star striker to leave in order to progress his career. What a time to be a blue.

Can't see Koeman staying there that long. He doesn't seem to "get" Everton. He lives in Alderley Edge as well and gave an interview to the Echo that he wouldn't move to Liverpool or its surrounding area.

I dunno mate, from his comments about Lukaku it seems he gets them just fine.

Right down to knowing where next summer's transfer kitty is coming from.

Davek's going to be all over those Koey quotes.

Aaaaaaand he's off and running....

Can someone tell this plant pot to stfu

'kin speechless at this feller's arrogance.

You're not managing Twente Enschede here Mr Koeman.

Is there anything more obvious than Koeman touting Lukaku around for a summer sale to fund his spending?

Instead of doing that he should be tying him down to a contract...and banging on Moshiri's door for the cash that was promised for players.

"Romelu will not have made the most of his career if he plays for Everton for the remainder of his career...He has the potential to play for a bigger club than Everton".

He really get's us, doesn't he?

I wonder if the Echo hacks will get their tongues out of his arse for a second to write that up and question it?

Big difference with Rooney is that we couldn't produce cash to invest in the squad and match his ambition. Now we, apparently, can. This manager is shaping up to be an arrogant get who is paid a kings ransom and insults us.

He just took his kecks down and shat all over us mate. THATS what's wrong with it.

That was Moyes-esque when he went to OT. If Moyes gets pilloried for it, so does Koeman. That's consistency.
