Whilst I'm glad to see Everton replacing Inter on the "upper management clearly has no idea what they're doing" list, it's rather a shame for us.  Easier to buy/sell off Inter than it will be off Everton.

 

Even so, I'd be giving them a call and offering Lucas for 5m.  Or maybe give them a deal for Markovic, only 20m.  Peanuts when compared to what they'd pay for Brahimi!

thats 120m spent, and probably looking at around 500k in wages (again a generous estimate)

we are then left with a 60m and 360 pw situation, to go out their and target a 'statement' signing for the club to propel us into the spotlight, go throw that at Madrid, offer them their asking price for James Rodriguez and see what they actually say when we slap the money on the table, and see what his agent says when we offer to double his current 110k pw wages.

The first four words of the last paragraph, I agree with

Go throw that at Newcastle, offer them the asking price for Moussa Sissoko and see what they actually say when we slap the money on the table.  Then, when the player answers his phone, see what he actually says...
