*Shakes head* Everton again.

It will be interesting to see how much he's paid for this stake given City recently got £265m from the Chinese for just a 10% stake. I reckon we'll more of these deals for small stakes in PL clubs given the new TV deal and the fact the PL seems to be if anything increasing in popularity throughout the world.

I'm not too worried about this deal as Everton are absolutely miles behind from a commercial point and have a stadium that is straight out of the 1960's. They need to move stadium or redevelop and the cost of that will more than eat up any of this new investment.

Being brutally honest I'd find it extremely difficult to cope with the idea of them becoming the next billionaire's club whilst our owners are still attempting to add value to the club in every way possible apart from on the pitch..

its better that the value is in the club, as in Liverpool's case, than to have an owner whose personal wealth might be in the region of £1b.

he's very unlikely to have £1b in cash assets and more likely to have the majority of that money invested in other things.

He's not going to turn them into the next mansour type project.

That could be because of PL rules though.

No, he's pissed off his stake didnt get him a seat on arsenal's board.

This is great reading
