Apparently Gordon wants to move to Chelsea.

I am guessing the blues will lap up the money they get for him sayings its a great deal.

It's an odd move by Chelsea, I don't see anything other than an average player with pace, a club like Chelsea could go out and sign almost anyone.

He'll disappear there, fringe player if he goes and then end up loaned out.

Interesting to see how, for a lot of them, Gordon has gone from great to unproductive and should be moved on, in the space of a few short days. A rare moment of clarity here.

I'd hope you where right mate. But history shows we won't.

We ran out of time (used often)
The player pushed for a move not giving us time to replace - we'll strengthen in January (used often)
The bringing back of an ageing fan favourite (Gueye)
There wasn't value in the market.
The league 'made us' do it for regulations (Richy)

We'll bring in Gueye, sign some exciting lid on loan (who we won't own), do a stadium announcement, announce a few groundbreaking sponsorship deals, and do some big fan fare EiTC initiative

The blame will be shifted to Gordon for stabbing Bill in the back, the media will jump on Lampard hard all season to deflect from the board, Lampard will get sacked - rendering any promises made to him about getting the funds in January or next summer utterly defunct. And we'll hope cone April we are in touch enough that 40k fans will give their all to drag this mess over the line

Why do they always believe that the media hate them so much?. Barely anyone cares about them outside of Liverpool and North Wales.

A desperate attempt to pretend they're still relevant in any way at all and are being kept down by malign forces rather than their own incompetence and mediocrity.
