Why would they sack him while they are going six weeks unbeaten?

Sorry... January (World Cup year be damned).

No, he looked like that Perry Groves who used to play for Arsenal, the one who  did nothing of any note apart from scoring against Liverpool in the League Cup final. The twat.

He never even scored mate, he just set up Charlie Nicholas for his spawny deflected winner.

Always thought he scored the 2nd, never seen that game since that day so no wonder I got that wrong.

I will always have a soft spot for Perry Groves after

a/His autobiography came out in the same week as In Defence Of Humanity by Ashley Cole, and immediately outsold Cashley’s; and

b/Perry Groves gleefully stuck the boot in:

“I'm pleased and honoured. Mine's just a normal book about an average player who didn't take himself so seriously. Cashley's is about someone who thinks he's so important and has got so carried away with his success. It's a good contrast to see a player who thought he was lucky to be where he was and another player who thinks the club were lucky to have him.”

They’re continuing to use some of the older buildings for apartments and the plan is more apartments and mixed commercial use - bars, etc. Not sure people want to be sat at dockside bars with the smell of a sewage plant wafting over at them.

If you look closely you can see the anchor points for the space elevator that will dock with the Alien Tourist information Centre.

Tory Class & Dignity FC.

Let a private company furlough catering and shop staff.

Owner donates £90k to the Conservative party.

Club claims £18m off the government for a covid business interruption loan.

Tries to get a skint Liverpool City Council to lend them money at a favourable rate despite having a billionaire owner and his mate giving them £30m for a stadium that hadn't even been built.

Refusing to pay back all of the 780k the council did for a feasibility study on their stadium while the council cuts services for underprivileged and disabled people.

Got the council to pay for Finch Farm.

Refusing to pay for any transport infrastructure around their new ground.

But der redshite tried to Furlough staff.

The peoples club la.

That is going to rile up a bunch. The Blues I know genuinely believe he is a season away from being world class.

Burnley should be taking legal advice over that Richarlison suspension too, considering his goals kept Everton up at their expense. He should have been suspended as soon as that happened.
