They've really gone in on this one haven't they. 

 

The thing that is funny is that they would never have hesitated to say yes if they were invited.  They would have been showing off telling everyone how they were a massive club and originally part of the English games elite/founder member spearheading a new era. Bill would have been spouting all these soundbites and Moshiri would have been rubbing his hands with the prospect of guaranteed income to pay for their new stadium.

 

Instead they got ignored then decided they would be the official spokesperson for the other clubs in the league making out they are some moral Corinthian guardians of the game who need to protect everyone from the horrible bastards who represent everything they aren't.
