Hahahahahaha come on mate, he's just a really good player who looks after his body, same way Messi and Ronaldo do it.

He was good in both seasons for Roma tbh ( not AS good )

And I wouldn't pay attention to much to who Chelsea deem "not good enough" given they let rom and KDB leave for buttons first time around

Both those players were slowing down by the time they hit 30 from what they were capable of earlier in their careers despite both being absolutely prodigies. In fact almost every single one of the world class bracket of top players (e.g Messi Ronaldo Neymar Mbappe Aguero Rooney etc.) were all world class in their teens and already on the radar of huge clubs. Even Lukaku whilst not as good was leading premier league forward lines in his teens. Foden and Pedri now are already in the first teams at the top clubs in the world. Generational talent doesn’t get missed by these big teams, they hoover it up. Apart from the two anomalies at Liverpool in Salah and Mane who just happened to be fairly decent forwards into their mid twenties who top clubs had a look at and decided against, until they arrived at Liverpool and suddenly became two of the best forwards in the world over night in their mid to late twenties. Not seen too many stories like that anywhere in football but imagine the chances of getting two in one club? Three if you count VVD who went from a player only Southampton would take a punt on from Celtic to what some pundits consider the greatest centre back in premier league history. What a meteoric rise for three players all at the same club all at a stage in their career when huge rapid improvement isn’t that common.

Honestly just open your eyes to the fact this isn’t normal. What other pace based attacker who is almost 30 who has played week after week for 4 seasons in a row is actually getting faster and better as time goes on? Even Ronaldo Messi Kane etc. all adapted their games so they don’t run as much. Salah is still tearing down the wing like he’s 21 (except when he was 21 he wasn’t tearing down the wing like this). It’s not natural, if those players went to other clubs half of them would be finished within a few seasons. Seriously you could retire Milner Henderson Firmino Matip immediately, Jones would probably look a championship player, Jota would be bang average as he was at Wolves, and no one would even discuss Alexander Arnold and Robertson as even being in the conversation for best fullbacks in the world.

I'm guessing he's not suggesting we've got the best manager in the world then?

He is suggesting that Rooney was in the top tier of world class strikers which is as mad as anything he has ever said.

Same old bile being made in the comments, I hope this stadium bankrupts them and we never have to deal with their sour faces ever again. Absolute lunatics the vast majority of them now unfortunately. I think Klopp and to a lesser extent Rafa have broken them.

They really think we are jealous of this stadium and that we are bitter about it. They think we lie awake at night fuming about them getting a new stadium to replace their current shit tip.

I couldn't care less. I have laughed at the way nothing has been done for almost six years and they keep going on about it. Also that they believe it is going to turn them into some superpower.

Also the fact that our capacity will be 61,000 and will be finished before they even get going. Anfield is one of the most famous grounds in the world, their stadium won't be.

They are moving into a brand new stadium and all they can do is invent our heads falling off. They aren't normal.

We'll have to forgive their giddiness as it's the closest they've come to a trophy in decades.

Do you think Evertonians pop on here to have a mooch a bit like some of us will look at their forums then report back with "you know what lads, just looked on TLW and not one of them is arsed about our new stadium, heads are actually not falling off"?

More likely to say they popped in here, called us all cunts whilst verbally roundhouse-kicking all and sundry.

Nah if they come on here they'll go over there and say our heads are all falling off because all they can do is lie when it comes to us. They all stalk RAWK anyway, far more than any of us pop over there for a laugh at them.

If Everton folded they'd still be a load of bitter fans, bitterness doubled down at this point, who would start supporting whoever our rivals were at the time.

    • This is what Ferguson said 10 years ago whilst Neville was sucking his cock under the table. Not to mention the subsequent purchase of Van Persie and a title win that followed.   The Manchester United manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, has defended his club's owners, the Glazer family, as well as his transfer policy and made a jibe at rivals Manchester City The Glazer family assumed control at Old Trafford in 2005 but have rarely encountered a trouble-free period in charge. Factions of support have persistently protested against their ownership owing to concerns over debt levels, with others believing United can no longer match their Premier League rivals in the transfer market as a result. But speaking during his side's pre-season tour of South Africa, Ferguson has defended the American family. "I am comfortable with the Glazer situation. They have been great," he said. "They have always backed me whenever I have asked them. I have never faced any opposition. "They have always been as sensible as they can be in terms of financing the club. They have to invest in the team to maintain the value of their asset. "I think there are a whole lot of factions at United that think they own the club. They will always be contentious about whoever owns the club, and that's the way it's always been. "When the Glazers took over here there was dissatisfaction, so there have always been pockets of supporters who have their views. But I think the majority of real fans will look at it realistically and say it's not affecting the team. We've won four championships since they've been there, one European Cup."
    • Because there are considerably more people who don't go the game and watch it online.
    • Unprecedented heatwave with people running around.   It should not happen again, but it was definitely the right thing to do and I bet Klopp would agree.
    • Yes?  What's so bad about it?  The roof leaked a few years ago and was fixed, and one side is smaller than the rest.  But apart from that he never expands on his assertion that the stadium is in ruins, or whatever emotive tosh he spews on the day.  And no one ever challenges him on it?   He's a fucking crybaby cos they are not having it all their own way.  It's that simple.  And they're all the same.
    • The obvious solution for the Mancs is a spell in the lower leagues. A couple of decades down (like Leeds) then come back refreshed. The medicine can't always be sugar coated.
