Some of their fanbase will get more bile-filled joy out of him failing than they would out of him doing relatively well.

TBH some of ours did as well.

What's the verdict on our draw from the Bloos? I can't rest until I know whether to worry that we didn't manage to win a proper 90 minute pre-season game, or not. It needs to come from these fans, the winners of an actual trophy, to have any credence.

I forgot we were playing. I really need a a pet Bloo to keep me informed about the minutiae of LFC.

It was a stupid decision by Rafa to go there. Some of their fanbase will get more bile-filled joy out of him failing than they would out of him doing relatively well.

This guy will be getting called a Kopite within the next thirty minutes. Far too realistic an assessment.

Superstar of world football….

Egil Olsen

Egil Olsen

Player Valuation: £2.5m
Only Everton could sign a superstar of world football, try to offload him, and fail. We suck!
Another explanation is that JR is no longer a superstar, but a player who once had great potential that was never fully realized. Now he is an ok player - who lives on the past, who struggles with injuries and motivation, and who is relatively expensive to pay.

Absolute comedy gold on his timeline. You have to wonder though what cave Dale Johnson has been living in for the whole of the 21st century not to have anticipated the fewm he was about to unleash.
