Christ that lot ' its his last chance at a big job'

It not a big job you bellend he's just doing what my Old Grandad did, after 40 years at sea he took a little caretakers job pottering around the grounds of the local Lunatic Asylum so he could be close to the family

Rafa's got that bit right.

He's a professional who's not yet ready to retire. He's managed chelsea in the past and yes, I think he'd have taken the united job if it was offered. Managers, like players, say silly things to make them look good to the fans.

He would kill for the Utd job, no doubt about it whatsoever

Can't believe he's the Everton manager. Makes you wonder, would Rafa ever go to United if they offered him a job?

Fair play to some of you for not caring but Rafa has ruined his legacy with Liverpool now for me. Fuck him, he just wants a pay day and doesn't care where he gets it.

He's a good manager and he'll do well there with that squad and money (which they have)

for new players. I think a few people are in for a suprise when Everton are in and around the top 4 come the end of the next few seasons.

Big "No!" at the end of each paragraph.

Couldn’t he just visit them?

He served us well. But, we're on our 4th manager since he left us. He secured his name in the history of our club with that night in 2005. But, we've moved on as a club and should do so as supporters too. He's gone. Get over it etc, etc.

If he's given the money that Ancelotti had then it's a decent job for him. I won't go as far as wishing him good luck but I won't let this tarnish the good footballing memories he gave us, nor the things he did in the city off the pitch. I just hope he doesn't buy into the bitterness that runs deep throughout his new club and that he doesn't come to any harm at the hands of the more rabid elements of their fan base.
