*Shakes head* Everton again.

Didn’t take long for them to revert to type, the little rats. All we had to do was go above them on goal difference for the festering effluence that is modern Everton fandom to seep to the surface like the slime in Ghostbusters II.

I hope those cutting them slack earlier now see what they are dealing with.

Didn't take them long to call the season Covid and how shit it is. How longs the game been over for now 2 hours?

Player Valuation: £80m

Another Covid19 season, Who cares? I can barely get interested in Everton's season, so there's is an irrelevancy.

These season's are bogus. Any trophies won in them are worthless. And yes, I would say that if Everton won a cup.

"Whenever we do anything a bit good (literally win 3 games of football in a row) - they always find something to steal our thunder" (also win 3 games of football in a row).

If only Liverpool had done something of note in the past couple of seasons.

Fuck 'em.

While they're boiling themselves in their own piss, we're basking in how good our squad is and relaxing with pictures of Sara Matos.

Life is good.

Fucked up seeing that bitters version of TLW with alternate versions of us.

"So, where do you stand on, beans on a fry up?"

"I'd like to smear beans on a fry up. Then push a wall on it!!!!"

"Hahaha, aha, aha, ha."

If we had lost none of them would say that. I'd absolutely batter every single one of them. And I'm not even hard.

That Matty lads bird has definitely been rattled by a few Reds and it kills him. Little ginger goateed blert.

It’s true. Apparently both Evans and the club have apologised. I’d be surprised if Roy is kept on as a commentator; it seems like careless casual racism from an old man rather than anything genuinely sinister, but it’s not on coming from the official club channel.

What is this all about? I heard something at the start of the local news as a headline saying something like "and we'll look at chart topping Everton" but I didn't see what it was about.

They managed to all buy an old Everton song on iTunes and it went to number 1.

They beat Miley Cyrus into second spot now, her, her fans and all der redshites fans heads are falling off. Cos its 1985 again and Everton are boss.

It is hilarious that they are all giving it biftas after 3 games, getting a song to number 1 and then they are still behind us.

Pure parody.

This is trending for some reason.

It's catchy. It reminds me of an old Radio City advert for Runcorn Shopping City.

"Come and join in the fun. You've gotta shop, shop in Shoppo."

I liked the bit at the end where Moxey and Barry got in trouble, and Wayne was hiding under the table, but Bomber and Oz turned up to frighten the bullies, and Dennis and Neville got them all to calm down.

Vichy FC can fuck right off. Unreal to be called racists by a fan base who proudly sang "Everton are White" wherever they went.

What do you mean, what’s all this about? We’re all fuming about it, heads dropping off everywhere. Surely you must have noticed?

I had no knowledge of anything about this song until it was posted here. The feel good factor didn’t last long as they’re back on the conspiracy train.

    • While I'd be happy for us to bin him I'd be happy for us bin AOC as well. It appears Wijnaldum is leaving, and Milner will too.   So we'd be left needing to sign at least two central midfielders next year.    I guess ideally Wijnaldum would end up signing a new deal so at least we'd be left with -   Henderson, Fabinho, Thiago, Wijnaldum and Jones.
    • Replay clearly showed it was onside because Gomez hadn’t held the line and had dropped back a yard. Bit let’s not mention that, eh?   People still not understanding that second choice keepers are second choice for a reason.
    • That would be a possible career ending muscle strain to Sturridge    Win next week and Atlanta can beat Ajax and suddenly it’s a 6 point gap so you’d like to think Jurgen can then shuffle the team around
    • Liverpool got their European campaign off to a winning start with a professional 1-0 victory over Ajax at the Johan Cruyff arena on Wednesday evening.

It has been a very difficult last few days for anyone closely associated with the club in the aftermath of losing defensive lynchpin Virgil Van Dijk for the season due to a incredibly reckless challenge by Jordan Pickford in the Merseyside Derby.

The anger of Jurgen Klopp and Gini Wijnaldum was still clearly evident in the lead-up to this fixture, but as soon as they took to the pitch, the number one focus was claiming the three points.

The winning goal came with a stroke of good fortune with Sadio Mane’s cross deflected by Argentine defender Nicolas Tagliafico into his own net ten minutes from the half time break.

Speaking after the match per the Official site, the manager was honest in his assessment of the footballing quality on display, but thrilled with the end result.

“This situation is pretty much the picture of the game, so it was not the most easy-on-the-eye performance from both teams, I would say. Both teams can play better football.

“But especially in this competition when you play away, a lot of difficulties, pretty much the medical department made the line-up and then you have to win the game – and that's what the boys did. I think that was deserved, even when we had to clear one ball from the line and when they hit the post.

“Of course they had their moments but apart from that, we were pretty dominant on a difficult pitch for both teams. I think everybody knows that Ajax is usually a brilliant football team but tonight it was really tricky, the passing was difficult, so you could see that. But we won the game and I'm completely fine."

As well as the loss of Van Dijk, the Reds were dealt a further blow with Joel Matip ruled out meaning that the manager had to turn to Fabinho who once again filled in ably in the heart of the defence.

The manager was delighted with performance of the versatile Brazilian who produced a brilliant goal line clearance to deny former Southampton star Dusan Tadic.

“Look, in our situation it helps. Of course, was there pressure on the situation? Yes, it’s clear for the two in the back there, 100 per cent. First game together. Fabinho can play the position, he likes playing it actually.

“If I would have asked him to play right-back I don’t think he would enjoy it as much as he’s enjoying the centre-half position. In our situation in the moment we have to keep those boys fit and then they can of course help us a lot. I’m not surprised he [Fabinho] plays well in the position otherwise we would have thought about a different solution, even when that would have been properly tricky.

“I’m really pleased for tonight, pleased for him, yes it gave him confidence, for sure helped us. These situations [goalline clearances], Millie had last season one against Bournemouth, which was a massive one. That tonight was a massive one. And so he had not only because of this a big hand in this victory tonight.”

Klopp had no reservations in taking off the front three just before the hour mark and felt that their replacements in Diogo Jota, Takumi Minamino and Xherdan Shaqiri all had a impact.

“All three who came on are, first, in a really good shape, fresh in a tricky, difficult game on a difficult pitch.

“That helps a lot and you saw they helped a lot. Shaq won deflections, which is pretty special.Taki in both directions, incredible between the lines. And Diogo is a machine so he can punish opponents in one-on-one situations. We had these moments, we didn’t finish them off, unfortunately.”

“But it’s completely fine, it was important for them. Now we started the group, now we have to concentrate on the league again and then Midtjylland is waiting after that.”
