They've done it before and got out of gaol, unfortunately.

 

Im not up with their big transfer outs but they got a wedge when Lukaku shipped out. Their best saleable asset now is that Richarlison. If he has anything like a decent season and Real come sniffing at the end of this one, they could be forced to cash in.

 

They wont get the £143m they value him at but they may get £75m ish plus add ons. That could bail them out short term.
