What about all the worldwide fans of LFC.
Do you think they would agree with your views.?
LFC is proud I am sure of the fact that they have followers from every nation and religion who follow them.
Colour or religion especially in Liverpool has never been an issue either.
Its a football club that happens to be doing ok at the moment. ( that's all )
Quoting the names of Saville/Thatcher somehow being linked and saying that most of the fans hate the Irish and Black people is an awful comment.
To think you even got likes for that post as well.
Like it or not, The last night of the proms has been on TV for years and is a popular watch for most.
Pretty sure it has nothing to do with football or its fans of any club.
Trying to insinuate that LFC and their fans hold allegiance to nazis, fascists, Tommy Robinson,( hounded out of Liverpool ), and British imperialism and to then claim LFC as a racist club is beyond belief.
Not sure if you are from Liverpool and not asking either.
Have a nice day anyway.
( puts range rover away in treble car garage )
This response I'm afraid is typically vapid and illogical. Your club and fans have a serious problem, and ridiculous ill thought through replies aren't going to solve the problem.

You are a rotten racist club, to the very core. Go and read the culture that presided over the club in the 80's in Howard Gayle's book. The ridiculous nicknames for John Barnes. The KKK inspired parties for Gayle to have to attend. Then fast forward. The abuse of a black teenager who had to leave the pitch in tears due to monkey chants. The abuse of Evra (and lack of any apology, and mindless inane chants of calling him a "lying ******) from the crowd. The deliberate and provocotive championing of a racist, shortly after they were convicted of racism, and instead of wearing Kick it out T Shirts in an unprecendented move making him the emblem of the club.

Think of the abuse and continued lies towards Mason Holgate for daring to bring an accusation of racism, and the inane racism that comes out of 99% of your suporters mouths when the laws and principles that Lawrence family fought so hard for are parodied and insulted by more white LFC supporters (and racists). Who on earth do fans of your club think they are, to make judgement on what the Lawrences have achieved? What on earth have your club and it's fans ever achieved that thinks they are in any kind of position to ever make a moral judgement on them and what they fought for?

Then think of the gawping face of your owner, smiling and gafforing with the worlds leadign fascist Donald Trump and even giving him a signed Red Sox shirt. In just the same way apoligists did to Adolf Hitler all those years ago to help normalise a disgraceful regime.

Think of the "no Fenians" graffiti, the secterian loyalist songs belted out from the Kop, the lack of any Irish Catholic players signed until the 1980's, the board that was set uplmost entirely of Orangemen and Tories with the intent of being a club made up of, and welcoem to only 1 section of the community. Think of how it was formed by the backs of wealthy tory landowners and the scabs of society who lacked the courage and basic sense of decency to do what is right, and run these people out of town.

Think of the crowing around Thatcher, as she destroyed the city, pitching up for picture ops at every opportunity while the poeple in the city suffered. The arson attacks on cultural heritage sites. The urinating and graffiting of murals for Evertonians who've died then the fake news Evertonians do the same. That you have fan after fan oncomments pages defending the right of Rees Mogg and his scummy entitled kids to support Liverpool. The man who is now enabling a government to again decimate the life chances of people in the city whileyour fans defend him as one of their own.

So I tell you what, why don't you get angry about just a single 1 of the multitude of unforgiveable examples I've given, and apologise for supporting such a racist, elitist and prejudicial organisation rather than trying to have a pop at someone who has taken the time to analyse the actions in an impartial and reasnable manner. There is no justification for what you and your sort do. You're an utter disgrace and a cancer on society.

I'm probably going to get labeled a red here which I most definitely am not. But that post you have just made and to end it with that last line there makes me question your mental stability. John Barnes got a banana thrown at him from the family enclosure in one of my first ever games. My dad and a good number around him had a full on riot with a gang of dickheads who were national front in the yankee bar. Our obsession with them has to stop. Sh1ts like you are why we are labeled small time. We p1ss on them in a million ways. Get some respect and decency in that head. F0ck them f0ck them . Remember who you are and where you are from (if you are even from the city) before you go throwing comments like that around.

I see we're on page 1986 of this thread! Apt seeing as that was the year that we stopped Everton from winning the first of what would now be 35 consecutive European Cups / Champions Leagues!

Donating unsellable stuff. Wow great gesture. Send some fucking money instead. Making people suffer even more in the heat with fucking polyester replicas. Now that borders pure abuse.

There’s still nothing on how they are paying for the stadium.  Again though why would they spend even more money redoing designs if it wasn’t getting built.  Another couple of stories in the papers about how the build is essential for the local economy which stinks of trying to get public money again.

The thing that seems to have slipped under the radar is the fact they’ve got rid of the car park.  Even with the car park being there you would still have thousands but now 50000 people walking from town to the ground.  I’ve worked by the river front before and for 6 months of the football season it’s bitterly cold and constantly blowing gale force winds.  It’s not going to be pretty on those midweek evening fixtures.

I’m actually disappointed it’s been delayed again because I want to actually see what the fuck is going on.  500m is not going to added to the value of the club when it’s built and Everton alone will not be able to repay it without relegating themselves at some point.

I read it was the council planning department who wanted these recent changes so it was a question of having to do it if they hold out hope of getting full planning permission.

Just why the council wanted a 'viewing terrace' facing the river for a stadium design, goodness knows. Unless of course, the council wants the stadium to incorporate their vision and ideas if they are going to stump up a huge sum of money for or towards it.

If the car parking has been removed, it begs the question just where are the crowd going to park? There's fuck all 'spare' parking down there and anyone who parks on the surrounding roads, does so at their own risk. Ive seen burnt out Rangies down there so anyone with a decent set of wheels would surely think twice.

Yeah, we all know everton fans live local so could walk the ground or jump the bus. The reality is somewhat different.

I think there's little doubt they'll get their planning permission. I still very much doubt they'll find a working solution to fund the building unless the dream ticket of Usmanov stumps up or, we, through the council end up susidising it.

To be honest, I thought it smacks of the 1st steps of being able to walk away. We love the ground, the consultation process loved the ground but other nasty people saying it will damage world heritage etc - conveniently forgetting these people are part of said consultation process. Then they make some changes which still get complained about and they get to walk away saying more changes make it financially unviable, even though they've no money to pay for it anyway.

I still don't see how they expect to get 50,000 (stop laughing at the back) away from that site after a match.

Cheeky little hijack of Thiago from the redshite after Mosh has finished slapping the money on the table for James? I can see it. He'd be a good backup to Andre Gomes.

I actually think it will get built, it will be financed by public money though.

And if anyone complains they will be a jealous redshite whose head is falling off.

Starting to think the same way the longer it drags on.  They've had plenty of chances recently to use as an excuse for knocking it on the head. Getting to the point where they suuurely know something we don't.

    • 50000 fans in the stadium and those results in January don’t happen for me. Whoever is at centre half.
    • Main causes for our disastrous season (where we still got to the QF stage of CL and are still favourites to get CL qualification), ranked;   1. Season-ending injuries to ALL three starting-caliber CBs (notice that we were top of the league until all three went down) 2. Inability to react to said injuries due to tight finances (during a pandemic, or on a whole) 3. Lack of supporters at home (a factor for all teams, but hits us more than most) 4. Other players injuries and loss of form, possibly Covid-related 5. Unprecedented run of shit decisions by VAR and refs (especially from Nov-Feb) 6. Profligacy in front of goal, Firmino and Mane being the main culprits, even if Salah misses his share too. 7. I'll be cooperative and put Klopp and some of his decisions here...   Fair to say I disagree a bit with your statement...
    • 50'000 fans singing your name kind of gives most people a boost mate. I know people have buzzed off us saying it but we have absolutely missed the fans more than most.
    • That's because it'll expose him as nothing more than the attention seeking rabble rouser he is. He comes out with the type of shite you'd hear from someone who's never lived in the city.   As someone who lived in Liverpool for a while, but not anymore, i'm well-versed in these type of twats
    • I dont get how any player loses confidence playing in empty stadiums. There isnt 50000 fans on their back if they fuck up a pass.   Fuck knows what their confidence would be like with 50000 on and turning in performances as we have seen.
