VAR, fixture lists, shit League, big sides in transition. It’s been a perfect storm for us this season. Winning the FA Cup and the League cup is what defines THE great sides.

It'll be a reasonable whilst whatever they achieve this season, they won't be comparable to the proper great premier league teams of eras gone by.

Obviously the VAR benefits they've had (The 2 goal swing vs City when they were struggling to get a kick which then changed the course of the season for both clubs being the biggest), the help with fixture lists, the poor quality of the opposition who are all in transition and now this. The fact is, they have had to disregard the 2 cups as they aren't good enough to go for all the domestic trophies in 1 season like some of the great sides have. Which Klopp is well aware of.

Obviously mention will go to the United side that pulled out but of the FA Cup but that was done for the benefit of the country not United. United had no interest in the world club cup, they wanted the FA cup. They were forced to go there by the FA as it was in a new format and England were told they had to attend otherwise they wouldn't get the world cup which the FA was bidding for.

I was just about over the Derby defeat, but now find myself angry, not only did we lose to them, but they are basically now saying they don't even want to be in the comp anyway, just to add to the fume factor.
Resign then, reinstate us and we will play Shrewsbury next week. Sorted

I hate them

Chump who supports a team that aren't good enough to challenge for even ONE trophy slagging off a team that is trying to challenge for at least another 2 trophies to add to the 2 they already have this season.

Market rates for business financing are a known variable. As a result, we have a pretty good idea of what it will cost. We're not going to pay for it with, say, the naming rights and if we try we'll have the Prem and UEFA breathing down our necks. We already have the Prem looking into the option on the naming rights and awaiting our filing.
City got an 80m per year deal 5 years ago (and are a much smaller club than Everton). We have got a deal worth 12m per year for our training ground.

Our stadium is state of the art, in an iconic location. There is no other stadium like it.

It will cost around 17-20 million p/a to pay back over 20-25 years.

We will be absolutely within our rights to easily cover any repayments of the stadium with a naming deal if we can negotiate such a deal. Any attempt to infringe upon that by the PL will see a likely legal case, which would ruin them. They might talk big, but will quite quickly realise they do not have a leg to stand on, if our rights are anything around what smaller clubs like Manchester City negotiated.

It's another one of these.

Yes there are. There’s on in Kirby, there’s one on the Kings Dock, there’s even on of ours in Stanley Park if you look closely enough for it.

Feels weird even typing this, but now that they have the biggest and best stadium around, have the best manager in the world and have sold all their shite players for hundreds of millions to fund better ones for less money, I feel like its time to buy some neck supports, because my heads feeling a little loose.
