There’s been loads of teams better than us that haven’t won as many games,............

Player Valuation: £1.5m
why we got Villareal in qualifying and Liverpool got a amateur Welsh side.

For the record, we only played "a amateur Welsh side" because those whining bitches thought that finishing on 61 points was more worthy of a place in the third Qualifying Round of the Champions League than actually being Champions of something.  To shut them up, the FA and UEFA (who, apparently, weren't in on the conspiracy back then) made us play the first qualifying round against TNS, before facing Kaunas in the second round and then disposing of CSKA Sofia at the stage where Everton entered the contest and, predictably enough, shit the bed.

I would be reasonably sure that someone calling themselves JelavicBrate is a red on an undercover mission.

Just checked. The accounts are still not up on the EFC website yet. Was hoping for some early entertainment.

In a transfer table published in a spurs article in the daily wail today regarding clubs transfer spend in the last 5 years, everton have spent just £15m LESS than us, £502m compared to our £517m. That really surprised me.

Their top spend on a single player in that period is sigurdsson at £44m while ours in Virgil at £75m.

Since 2016, everton are supposedly the 4th highest spending PL club. They havent finished 4th since then.

Just what I was thinking, Brate being Serbo-Croat for 'better than Suarez'

How have they signed that young lad if they’re banned from signing academy players for 2 years, have they given him a senior contract or something?

I'm taking a guess that the main thought going around Mr Moshiri's head, again and again, is 'what the fuck was I thinking?'

Free stadium, free stadium, free stadium...... oops.

There was me thinking they're shite and al the time they're staying off the FFP radar by not qualifying for European football. Crafty bastards.

The only thing that surprises me is we've outspent them. I thought they'd spent loads more than us. I would love to see the old net spend comparisons, because they must out do us by miles that way.

Isn't there some type of premier League ffp? That you can't lose 100m over 3 years or something?

They're doing a whole bunch of mental gymnastics to avoid saying "here lads, we are FUCKED".

Heavy losses, shite revenues and shite performance, shite squad, fuck all assets, and pumping money into an imaginary stadium.

And when it all goes tits up? Der redshites fault.

Tom Cannon trying to get Brandalf kicked off the board. He loses as he’s the only vote against. Brandalf keeps his expense account.

Current period “one of the most significant transitions” in club’s history

Denise Barrett-Baxendale reiterates long-term ambition to see Everton winning trophies, playing in the Champions League and all in the “world class stadium”.

Chief exec calls current period “one of the most significant transitions” in club’s history.

Says set-backs expected.

The highlights of their season video that started at 18:18 actually ended at 18:18.

Wonder why that is then.......

    • You don't need to have drainage to have drainage...
    • I dont like the sound of the comments directed towards Deeney , but also think that if he had simply said that he had a child in the more dangerous category and wanted to avoid taking any chances with his health he would have avoided the great majority of the opprobrium.

    • The season's integrity has already gone. Apparently.   Troy Deeney, the Watford captain, has said the integrity of this season is “already gone” as he revealed the abuse directed at him and his family because of his vocal opposition to the Premier League’s Project Restart plan.   Deeney has been outspoken about his fears over the return to action, saying earlier this month that he would rather be broke than put his family at risk. He has now said he feels sorry for Liverpool because this season will forever be known for the coronavirus pandemic and because he believes the crisis has stripped the competition of its integrity.   The 31-year-old refused to return to Phase One training last week and, along with Newcastle United defender Danny Rose, has been among the few players willing to go public with their concerns over the attempts to resume the season.   “Danny Rose spoke out, and I spoke out and we just get absolutely hammered and battered for it,” Deeney said in an interview with CNN. “It's not just us that gets it. My missus gets direct messages, and you'll be walking down the street and people will be like: 'Oh, I'm at work, you go back to work.'     “And I’ll be like: ‘I didn’t make you go back to work.’ I saw some comments in regards to my son, people saying: 'I hope your son gets corona[virus].’, That's the hard part for me.”   Asked whether the integrity of the Premier League will be jeopardised if more players test positive for coronavirus, Deeney added: “I believe personally that when it comes to the integrity of this season anyway, it's already gone. “I feel sorry for Liverpool. No matter how it plays out, they deserve to win the league. They deserve to get the trophy [but] even if we play all the games, it's still going to be the year about the pandemic. It's not going to be that year that Liverpool won the league being the best team.”   Deeney did, however, indicate that he has been reassured by conversations with Jonathan Van-Tam, the deputy chief medical officer. Van-Tam addressed the BAME players’ advisory group on Friday, with Deeney involved in the call.   “My concerns were purely for family reasons,” said Deeney. “I have a five-month-old son who's got breathing difficulties. I've been fortunate enough to speak to Professor Jonathan van Tam, who works with the government.   “He's been doing very, very good research and a lot of good will on his part to tell me, ultimately, that I'm going to be looked after as best as they can. And ultimately there is going to be some form of risk for all of us going back to work.”   https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2020/05/27/troy-deeney-says-season-integrity-has-already-gone-people/   Yeah well no sane person would wish you or your kid \ family harm. The morons saying they hope you \ your family get the virus are the say blow hards saying 'justice for the 41' and 'it's only Liverpool fans putting the re start ahead of people dieing.' In other words, the fucking mongs in society who seem to run the show nowadays.   As for his the integrity is gone, is this year suddenly worthless in any respect because of the virus? Are all sporting ocassions now stripped of sporting integrity or is it just football or perhaps, this season's premier League that has been stripped and horse racing, athletics etc havent?
