I don't know why they moan  about the media kopite love in. The fact that they are completely irrelevant and the media focus on us should help them considering the amount of money they piss away.

I remember when Moyes was in charge and all their fans used to say how good they would be if they had spent the money we were spending at the time. They cant use that excuse any more.

How that sums them up though. Even if they had gone top, their first thought would be about villa going down. Like that would even be in your thoughts.

Were already on more than double the senior club's points tally.

Not really. Set pieces don't really count so that's 3 goals down. There's an own goal too, chalk that off. Mane against saints was the biggest fluke ever, another one gone and salah today was all pace, so really we're only 2 goals better off than them and 1 point.

To be fair I'd love Villa to go back down. Hate them, the gang of shitty accented twats.

How much have Everton actually spent since Moshiri took over? Like actually spent, not net spend.

250 million apparently. That is loans which have been turned into equity. Player wise they have spent 320 million on signings. Plus what they spent this summer.

Moshiri apparently took over in February 2016 so, assuming his first window was summer 2016, according to this:

https://www.transferleague.co.uk/everton/english-football-teams/everton-transfers

It would be about £500 spent million since 16/17. And about £233 million net.

Edit: actually, looking at that again, Kean seems to be listed twice - so take £27 million off those.

They're in that tough spot where they have money but they aren't any good so barely anybody worth buying wants to join them so they have to overpay on big club rejects and decent midtable Premier League players.

They're lucky the expectations the general public and the media have for them are so low. You barely hear about the pretty large amount of money they've spent for very mediocre results.
