Warehouse operator walks into our workshop today and shouts “Come on you Spurs!” as he’s washing his hands.

Yesterday he was an Ajax admirer, “always liked the way they bring their players through from kids, the right way”.

Tuesday he was waiting for our season to end in tears.

Saturday he texted one of the lads “Howay the Lads!” before the match kicked off, while he was out with his missus.

He admitted yesterday that  Tuesday “was the worst night of my life”.

No prizes for guessing who he supports.

Anyone but us I would assume.

It all rests in the hands of Chelsea fans now, if they can go rioting tonight and tip a wall or two over again, then hopefully UEFA can instantly ban English Clubs from Europe for a while and put us all out of our misery.
Then again, we'd have to have qualified for the CL next year for UEFA to even consider it.

The funny thing is the big wigs at uefa would need reminded who the fuck they are.

What a lovely fella. Bet he tapes crumbs to windows to confuse other Evertonians.

Surprised he hasn’t been banned for suggesting there were Chelsea fans at Heysel.

Financial dopers we are.

Of absolute no relevance in a one off match like this. Most of those encounters were one goal in it. Spurs have been a better team than Liverpool in 4 of the last 5 seasons. It is absolutely on a knife edge.
I hope the match is billed in the media correctly. A team that has spent zero in the last two transfer windows with a squad comprised of bargain signings and youth players against a corporation that has ploughed more money into their first team over the last 18 months than any team in the history of the game and have a squad of players with world record fees and huge money signings in almost every position.

Paupers v financial dopers.

I know their hatred of us supersedes all else, but shouldn’t a Tottenham win also be a bit depressing for Everton? Another team with fewer major honours winning the big one before them. They won’t see it that way, of course - I expect that mass replica shirt orders are already in place - but it’s just another sign that, short of a Man City scenario, they belong to a different era.

Amazing how a team who have spent nothing in the last two transfer windows sit 17 points ahead of the Bloos (who have spent £80m in the same period) with a team of bargain signings and kids. That says more about them I think!

I thought the point was to win the transfer windows?

Im confused now.

It's much cheaper to just jump on the bandwagon of whoever we play. You get 38 league games a year to cheer different players on before you even think about the celebrations in Cup and Europe
