Welcome to the new and improved TLW!

Some of you may experience issues logging in and will get an 'incorrect password' error. Don't worry, you haven't typed it in wrong and your password hasn't been changed. You will need to reset it though in order to log in. Click the reset password link and you will receive an email with your new temporary password. Once logged in, you need to choose a new password (or restore to your old one) otherwise you will be locked out again.

If you have an out of date email address linked to your account, then you won't receive the new password. If that's the case then you'll need to email me (dave @liverpoolway.co.uk) or send me a tweet @theliverpoolway and I'll update your password manually.

Any other problems or questions just let me know.

Thanks

Dave

They are turning on Pickford in a big way.

To be fair, Pickford should be holding his hands up for at least two of yesterday's goals. Or maybe he is, and nobody can tell.

PSG are sniffing around Gueye according to various reports. That might bag them a bit of cash to go into the market. They clearly can’t afford Lozano or Bergwjin at the prices PSV have quoted them as Brands was placing lower values on them last week.

Is it true that he has trouble using a knife or spoon for eating, so he has earned the nickname Gueye 'forks?'

Everton want to sign Danny Drinkwater from Chelsea #EFC #CFC

The Mersey Billionaires splashing the cash again on top level talent.

This is no way this has shades of Darron Gibson, Jack Rodwell, or the host of other "shittest player at a good team" type signings they make from other Premier League clubs.

Always works, this. Well, for the club binning off their shite.

Grand Old Teams new Pickford chant.

As soon as your born
They make your hands small
Can't catch or tip over
This round bloody ball
6 goals conceded
And one through the wall
A working class keeper is something to be

What is this new obsession PSG have with snapping up CM’s from English relegation candidates all about?

Wow. A quarter of a billion in debt, a number of starters just on loans, 77% of their income going on player wages and an imaginary new ground with no apparent funding.  What a shitshow.

Also, how on earth are Brighton so much in debt? I thought they were well run and stable?

SteveO might need to work on his calculations again.

It's pace debt so it doesn't count.

Our bluenose neighbours are somewhat schizophrenic - on the one hand their outward displays are all Big Billy Bollocks, Telly-Under-Each-Arm walk, aggressively and confidently telling all and sundry how they’ll easily break into the Top Four.....and yet on their tawdry GOT grief-hole they’re all suicidal because, by THEIR admission - their team is utter shit. What gives?
