*Shakes head* Everton again.

Can they afford to bend over for City? Spurs are only 3 points behind Everton, and as I expect the Mancs to win their remaining games, Everton throwing that game could see them going into holiday mode and finishing 7th. Can't see Bobby brown shoes letting it happen.

This title race has got one more twist and I reckon it'll be at the pit.

I suppose the one slither of hope is that Everton will know that they can pull to within a point of Arsenal, as they play before them. I think they'll be game, but not good enough. Only City and Chelsea have lost fewer home games over the last couple of years, but they'll be facing a side who can essentially seal the title while lacking some of their best players.

0-3 City.

I remember in 1999 when we drew with the Mancs at Anfield with Ince getting a late equaliser. That teed it up for Arsenal who had beaten Spurs that night. Win their last two games and they were champions. They ended up losing to Leeds. Conventional wisdom says Leeds would never do Man Utd a favour, but they did. Professional sportsmen are exactly that - professional. Everton will not roll over and die, no matter how much their fans might want them to.

Everton won it for them last time, hauling in a two goal deficit on United.

Martinez will send his side out to win, no two ways about it.  From his point of view, a good result adds more lustre for the players he wants to attract and keep next season as does finishing on a high.

Whether they are good enough is another matter entirely, but we only need a draw.
