Mad that we’re on 12 points and top of the league and blues think they’re better than us.

Points are irrelevant at this stage of the season anyway.

At this stage of the season points are irrelevant. I expect them to win today (United beat this Leicester team) but it's clear they haven't solved their achilles heel in defence, and that will rot away at the confidence. The lads had more cockups than saves.

Read today that Everton had won 17 of their last 20 home matches against lower-half teams, so not necessarily a bet with the heart to be fair.

That's not the worst part of the bet, for many reasons.

But one obvious one is the city bet. Most firms give you back your wager as a free bet if one leg of your accy is 1/4 or better. Doing a 5 leg accy with one bet worse than 1/4 shows inexperience, and is a fucking waste of a bet.

They’re doing ok. Played an awful West Ham team and unconvincing in the other two games. Looks a little like they’ve been found out to me. Need the same luck with injuries that they had last season to challenge for top 4.

Also long term not looking good, even if we ignore the sky high debt and FSG desperate scramble to sell this basket case to anyone they can find.

Their key players are all at their peak age. Mane, Salah and Firmino are all due to turn 27 by the end of the season. Pace players like that reach their peak earlier than most.

They need to win the league this year or at the very latest next year.

Looking like they can’t shift the deadwood, tens of millions in wages to pay and will lose them all on frees.

FSG’s incompetence is coming to the fore.

A new video where their classy fans will equate them to folk who rape their families on a protracted basis cannot be far away.

Worrying.

Are Mane, Salah and Bobby really the same age? I really didn’t know that! Imagine taking the time to find that out and you’re not even a fan!!

I’ve just checked, Bobby was born October 91 and the other two in April and June 92. Well well well!

Double header. Put them together and you have wooden pig enclosure...

Everton comes from a word meaning either “pig enclosure” or “Eofor’s enclosure”, from the Old English word “eofor” for a domestic pig or the first name “Eofor”.

This area means “wooden enclosure”, from the Old English “Wald” and “Tun” and becoming Walton by 1305.
