Richmond is playing Everton and they are all down because they haven’t won at Everton in 40 years (some long time) and the captain scores the winner and they beat the blues.  I think they go to the karaoke after the match to celebrate.  There is a scene before the match when they try to explain to Ted Lasso that Everton is in Liverpool and he is confused.

I need to see this. I assume he was called a wall pusher? Or did they dine out on some sort of relevance?

I can just imagine the producers asking for permission to use Everton's name and the blues all giddy about world-wide "exposure".  Then they see that they are the only team Richmond beat away with Lasso in charge.  School of science!!
