How can they spend any money on transfers they've clearly taken the piss for 3 years.

Its got to be a sell to buy policy surely ,  while in the meantime getting the losses down to fit with the FFP Regulations,  I'll not be holding my breath though .

As ever with the shite the reality of what they should do as to what they can do will no doubt be mired in controversy.

Apparently they're going to be ok on FFP next season as well. The Prem have accepted that if it hadn't been for Covid absence the office junior would have gone down the shops on his lunch hour and bought the winning Eurolottery ticket.

If you can stomach it, there is a thread on GOT call, Kopite Media Salty Tears, or something. It is an all time low even for them. Not one sensible post or hint of irony. The 1st post is from Klopps press conference where he says taking your child onto the pitch is dangerous, a perfectly rational opinion, but queue pages of the most bitterest, vile replies ever. We're jealous of them, making all about us, they've done nothing wrong, we are all scum etc. I normally laugh at them, but that thread is toxic.

Even that old hag who slapped the Palace player on the arse, the kid next to her was screaming fuck off constantly at him. The kid looked about 7 or 8. This is what Everton does to you.

Haha I know…this one? I thought it was pickford at first. On a serious note, imagine filling that much hatred into a child.

Imagine believing that.

They've booed, organised walkouts and been toxic towards their players for 9 months, until 3 weeks ago. Now they reckon they're the best fans in the world.

Deluded on a Biblical scale.

Thought it was pretty funny tbh. My favourite was the guy who asked whether Klopp was asked about the pitch invasion. At a press conference...

Of all the funny shit that come out since Thursday, and there has been plenty, this is by far my favourite.

Guaranteed that, as a minimum, when we have the parade on the 29th, there’ll be righteous fewm and indignation from the bloos that we are daring to celebrate on the 37th anniversary of Heysel, when we should be hanging our heads in shame.

We’ll be getting called hypocrites because we dared to complain when City disrupted the Hillsborough remembrance in the semi-final, yet will be dancing on the graves of the 39.

Regardless of whether the club has an acknowledgement to Heysel or not, and apparently it has been mooted, you just know it’s coming.

Christ help us if anything untoward kicks off in Paris, they’ll be like Silent Witness, forensically examining every move just to see if there’s more to hammer us with.

And that’s without all the made up stories they’ll be passing off as the gospel truth.

I just hope we win to really boil their piss.

They'll be waiting for one report or video where so much as a single red does something stupid in madrid....regardless of how much of a nothing incident it is - then they'll be all up on their moral high horses with all their usual bile....'shaming the city' 'shaming the country' blah blah fucking blah.

It is so deeply ingrained in so much of their support now and is being bred into their young support too.

To be fair, going to Madrid would be pretty stupid.

I don't get why they are counting transfers for money they could have obtained ifithadntbinfer the pandemic. Surely every other club could do that and pluck a figure out of thin air.

They have loads of shite players on massive money so even pre pandemic the majority of them would just go out on loans with them paying the bulk of the wages. We couldn't get anyone to buy the likes of Aquilani or Markovic and they just went out on loan every season until their contracts finished.

Loads of Italian, Turkish and Portuguese clubs never want to buy anyone outright, they just want cheapo loan deals with low fees based on appearance numbers, then mysteriously stop playing them to avoid shelling out.

If it wasn't for covid, Barca would still be loaded and would clearly have offered 300m for richarlison.

I read somewhere that's Evertons covid losses account to 17 percents of leagues total losses. The Premier league accepting that as valid paints the Premier league as completely corrupted by greed.

I don't think it shows that. It shows the PL likely backed themselves into a corner with this idea of relaxing rules for covid and allowed it to be grey enough that any half decent lawyer and accountant will drive a bus through the holes. That may have been by design or through fear of how it would look punishing a team who were struggling as a result of covid. The bottom line is clearly the premier League have fucked up and have been hoping nobody would challenge Everton's version of their accounts.
