Asthma induced PEDs? Asthma medicine? I think there would be more sophisticated means than this.

They have bleated on about this for two years now but have never come up with one example of where we have been caught doing it or any evidence linking us to match fixing or drug taking.

A whole fan base believing this shite because their team is shit and the team they hate is good. They've just come up with this Sky 6 and corrupt game narrative to help them cope. As soon as they win a game they fall back in love with the sport they claim to despise yet can't stop talking about.

This is one of the worst things about the internet and 'social media,' a fucking outright lie gets made then repeated over and over again but becomes the truth despite the lack of evidence. And they seem to think no one at their club would ever indulge in such a thing either purely because many of their results are shite.

I fucking hoped they'd go down this season but spawning a win against the soft shite mancs has saved their bacon. I dont think they'll be nearly as bad next season unfortunately.

"You'll never not convince me that Liverpool players are on asthma induced PEDs".

Setting aside both the grammatical horror of the first four words and his invention of "asthma induced PEDs", stating that you can never be convinced of something, irrespective of evidence, is flaunting your wilful stupidity.

All comes from a claim from a Irish-born wannabe sports journalist based in Russia, Alan Moore. Until this I don’t think anyone had heard of him.

Clearly a paid stooge. But by who? Well, we could speculate, but probably shouldn’t for Dave’s sake.

Top journalistic source is our Alan.

Quote

In March 2022, during the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Russia bombed a children and maternity hospital in Mariupol resulting in at least three deaths, including a child.[5]

The Russian embassy in London claimed that footage of a pregnant woman at the scene of the bombing was staged by a beauty blogger.

The claim was repeated on Twitter by Moore, who tweeted that "The girl being carried from the rubble is a blogger who came to the hospital for a ‘shoot’".

In another tweet, Moore referenced "the faked maternity hospital victim" while noting that "this has to be the worst time to want to believe in news reporting".

The tweets were subsequently deleted and Moore stated that he did not wish to comment specifically on them, telling The Irish Times that "War has to stop, nobody wants war, nobody should die for oil, for politics . . . War is wrong, people need to start speaking".[5] Moore had previously stated that some Russians were "unhappy" that "Putin took the decision to invade their neighbours".[49]

And then there is his career in journalism.

Quote

He is a sports journalist,[32] and since 2017 has produced and hosted "Capital Sports" on Capital FM in Moscow.[33] Former tennis player Ekaterina Bychkova co-hosted with Moore in 2017.[34] During 2016 and 2017, a number of Moore's articles were published by the Russian state-controlled RT.com website.[35]

In an op-ed piece for RT on Russia's ban from the 2018 Winter Olympics [36][deprecated source] , Moore posited the ban was more due to geopolitics and greed rather than doping, and cited examples of alleged doping in British cycling and a report from University of Tubingen in Germany estimating that 40-60 percent of elite athletes were involved in doping.

The European Union EUvsDisinfo project have stated that pro-Kremlin news agencies, funded by the Russian Federation including RT, regularly use a disinformation narrative that doping is widespread, and characterise it as "whataboutism".[37][improper synthesis?]

His 2013 article, 'The Fear of the Known', discussed doping in tennis.[38]

Moore was quoted in articles in the Sydney Morning Herald and BuzzFeed in which he spoke about match-fixing in tennis.[39][40]

He and his work has also appeared on news sources and websites like Off the Ball,[25] Championat.com,[41] Sports Daily,[13] 2FM,[42] and TRT World.[43]

In the buildup to the FIFA World Cup 2018, Moore decried Russia's lack of quality footballers and feared for their chances on Newstalk.[44] He used his role as a guest of several "radio and TV shows dedicated to the World Cup" to promote the development of the education system at Russian State Social University (RSSU College).[45]

In the build up to the 2018 World Cup, he was part of a campaign to prepare visitors to Russia.[46] His "Champ Talks" project was taken to the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center and involved a discussion forum on topics related to sports, education and society

It is fucking killing them isn't it....

On the brightside though for them they have man city to support in league.

Chelsea in the fa cup.....villareal and maybe if we get through man city or real madrid to support in european cup final.

They are all really up for tues as well as their bezzies from manchester are in town and they'll be hopeful they can derail our title bid.

Thwy may even at some point get round to giving a shite about their own games.

Heady days for them - lot's of excitement for them.

They will believe anything if it puts Liverpool in a negative light. You could make up a far fetched story about us and post it on Twitter and they would lap it up.

You still have loads of them retweeting a screenshot of a fake article saying that they have more local season ticket holders than us. They still all believe the Alan Smith ambulance attack happened as well as the furlough.

Even though their club used the Covid 19 government loan scheme, let a private company furlough shop workers and caterers and also haven't paid back the 700 grand it cost the council to do consultancy work for their new stadium.

We should invite Collina to the first leg of the semi final. Simply to see the camera go on him in the stands and hopefully having a laugh with Kenny Dalglish next to him.

As long as they approve of our FA Cup final opponents that’s all that matters. Pity it’s not Palace just to see the mad fuckers bang on about conspiracies again. Loons.

They’re weeks away from convincing themselves that the Copa Libertadores has been fixed to make sure that we win next season’s World Club Cup.

And, I only say this half jokingly.

I think we should go the whole hog and present him with a big red cuckoo clock in the centre circle to commemorate the forthcoming points deduction.

Would have been dead funny hearing/seeing all the 'palace are shite' shouts - totally forgetting palace battered them on the way

Good point for Burnley today. Means they are just a win away from catching Everton who are very much still in danger if you ask me.

Also means West Ham are in the battle for 4th with city still to come of course.

Could really do with west ham getting dumped out of europe - that final is 3 days after they play the cheats.

Potentially much better for us they are chasing a european place through league when they play city
