With a £20m black hole and any money changing hands between Usmanov and Moshiri being scrutinised how the fuck are they going to afford that stadium?.

Must put the percentage of wages to income up again with the absence of 3 main sponsors. Their only major sponsor now is Cazoo who give them just under £10m a season, they couldn't find q sleeve sponsorship after ditching Angry Birds.  No European football and stuck on £15m a season matchday revenue.

Then they'd need to find anything between £40m-£60m to repay their stadium, given the cost has spiralled and they are a high risk who will get shafted on interest rates.

Got to laugh, havent you? Everywhere you look, it's this and that company cancelling deals they had with Russian companies and sponsors. But everton, nah, they're just suspending their deals for when this crisis blows over.

What happened to null and void, people are dieing? Bunch of cunts, hope they go down, I really do.

Yet they will still go on about LFC furlough. They won't be buying any players in the summer put it that way.

The spawny fuckers will survive but a few of their players will start to get fed up of being mid table non entities to relegation candidates every year and want to fuck off.

From The Times:

Usmanov tried to show us that, actually, he was just a genial, football-loving chap. “You like English beer,” he told one of my portly colleagues. It was not the only sign that his charm needed more work.

Fat sweaty Samuel is the most likely for that description

Money laundering beneficiaries. Or, they would be beneficiaries if any of the countless shit players they bought weren't shit.

You don't need to benefit to be a beneficiary, but we are beneficiaries.

Whatever the share between Uncle Uzzy and Moshiri, over half a billion laundered on that lot and absolutely nothing to show for it. Except a shit load of sand, that is.

If only there weren’t 3 clubs worse than them, we could be rid of these lot forever.

Abramovich, Usmanov and Moshiri (to name but three) are mere discarded plastic bottles to the Exxon Valdez of middle-eastern financing within football, and sports in general. In what lunatic mind do we sanction these repellent oligarchs, whilst wining and dining the cuddly sheikhs?

"Drico" is mostly bang on the money.

Fully agree.

At least they have new enemies - Ukrainians, NATO, the West.

In any event, the stadium was really predicated on Liverpool getting the Commonwealth Games. But they then boxed themselves in by saying they’d build it no matter what.
