Mourinho would be typical of the Moshiri (and Kenweight, if he's still got clout and influence) decision making process.

A relatively clueless non-football man and a diehard fan who thinks his club is bigger than it is and should go for the biggest name they can get, even if he's not really at the top of his game anymore and hasn't moved on with football.

Moyes gets stick as being a negative manager. He still can be, but he seems to have adapted his tactical style a bit and has West Ham playing some good and entertaining football. Mourinho would be replacing like with like. Both he and Benitez seem to have their style of play and are wedded to it, even if it's a bit dated and the game has moved on.

I was thinking recently that it’s pretty fucking funny that Moyes, of all people, has shown more capacity for evolution than Mourinho and Rafa. Okay, it took him long enough, but maybe you need six or seven years to recover from 11 at Goodison.

There was a feature on the Echo Facey page earlier showing drone footage of Bramley Moore Dock and the "progress" that has been made.

I only kind of know the area, but was genuinely surprised how right in the middle of an industrial area it is. Obviously, there'll be regeneration of the area, but the stadium site appears to be right next to some sinister looking white buildings.

It looks a totally unsuitable area in which to place a football stadium.

It's between a shite farm, heavy crude oil storage and a mountain of scrap to export to some god forsaken place and obviously other working docks.

Ive seen burnt out Rangies and the old BMW X5 abandoned down there after being used in some questionable activities.

Only everton fc and their deluded followers think it is an ideal site for a football stadium.

THIS is our CEO.

If this is true, this is absolutely unheard of. A CEO in active position, with the board knowing they're actively looking elsewhere. Wow.

As I said a while back;
Kenwright looking after Kenwright, he'll be found hiding in a drain beneath Goodison when the mob is let loose. He's our Gadaffi.

Brands was another perfect example of the Evertonian tendency to totally hype somebody up beyond their real life abilities and achievements. Jelavic, Barkley, Cadamateri, Moshiri, Sandro Ramirez, Klaasen et al.

They do it to themselves. They set these unachievably high expectations on people and then lose their shit when those unrealistic expectations aren't met.

And repeat. Mad fuckers.

Not exactly been a successful reign for him although it's pretty clear player recruitment was taken out of his hands sometime ago.

Clearing the decks for Maureen?

Nah, brands didn't want Rafa, so I assume he's getting thrown to the wolves to buy Rafa a bit of time, who in turn is there to buy Moshiri time.

It's not close to the city centre really. It's a failed dock, that's done nothing for decades (which is also the joke about it losing us the UNICEF heritage gig). It's only half mile closer to Lime Street station than goodison park.
