We don't know how old/ able bodied/ confident those people were who filmed it. It added to the prosecution case, I hope. Not everyone can physically intervene in in these situations.

The people filming were probably football tourists/out of towners who have no interest in getting involved in fighting at football which is their prerogative but I’ve seen footage that show within probably a minute of the Sean cox attack when people realise what’s happening, liverpool fans regroup and face up to them and they get legged up Walton breck rd. 

 

A firm of 20 or so Roma appeared out of Venmore st armed with belts and started attacking and no one could have prevented what happened to Sean cox as he was on the ground before with life changing injuries before anyone realised what was happening.
