It was for Barcelona about 4 seasons ago. He scored 56 or 57 in one season for them and the BBC did an article on how it was a great achievement and would he be able to get to 60 goals. Most of the comments were from Evertonians going on about Dixie Dean and that it didn't count because it was a weaker league and some were in the Copa Del Rey. 

 

Then Everton's official Twitter account tweeted about it saying the same, reminding the world about some fella who scored 60 almost 100 years ago. 

 

Had absolutely nothing to do with him being an ex redshite either.
