Most of us don't want Rafa to do it because we think Evertonians are cunts. Not sure we'd threaten him for his own good!

Obviously I am using logic to argue the Evertonian point of view whereas a deluded notion of grandeur and sociopathic tendencies is probably more suitable. I mean, most people are struggling to understand the gender debate but Evertonians have been a massive small club, with a local worldwide fan base. A working class club owned by a billionaire, who are football royalty but not part of the elite, perennial underdogs who demand success, one of the country's most successful clubs with legends who have won nothing.

Psychotic doesn't even start to describe the fucking loons.

They were against all forms of modern football and buying titles until they were bought by a billionaire who promised to spend loads of money. Then they started bragging about being rich.

It was Bob who ultimately told Bill to stop turning up at Melwood as the players kept calling Bill 'boss' and it was undermining Bob. Whether Bill took the advise and Bob asked the club to withdraw access or not I dont know.

“Be nice if you called ahead”

”I’m not going to call ahead. You’re not a doctor”

Could well have missed something obvious here, but who is your Uncle?

He was a councillor in Liverpool for a very long time and later Lord Mayor.

The story is mentioned here in the "Everton managers who never were" article:

I think he fell out with the club after. He left but kept turning up for training, not allowing Bob to really be the boss as he was a distraction. So in the end I think the club asked him to stop coming in. That's when he started to go to training with Everton.

Shanks fell out with Liverpool because he expected to be appointed as a director of the club, like his friend Matt Busby was at Manchester United. Sir John Smith was, shall we say, vehemently opposed to the idea.

Smith made the right decision. Busby's presence over shadowed all the united managers that succeeded him, at least for 10 if not right up to Ferguson's appointment.

It was difficult for the club. Bill had stunned them asking to resign in 74. He even considered taking on Sunderland as manager around 68 / 69. Shankly was and is a legend. But he couldnt stay away from the club once he did resign which in some ways is understandable.

Turning up regularly at Melwood didnt help Bob one bit but it is difficult to think of a suitable resolution to the overall situation.

Unfortunately there was a suitable resolution - for Shanks to stop turning up. Utterly understandable that he couldn’t let go though. Just painful for everyone. And mad to think that Paisley was reluctant to take the job himself.

He was always falling out with the board over money to spend on players.

I think Smith probably thought he couldn't have him on the board as he wasn't a pragmatic businessman and that he would constantly clash with other board members who would be accused of knowing nothing about football.

Also Bob Paisley wanted his own players so imagine him going to the board asking for money for a player then Shankly disagreeing with him or suggesting other players. Would never have worked out.

You have to love Evertonians mental gymnastics over these bed sheet protest banners.

"It's Kopite behaviour"

"It must be Kopites doing in to cause trouble"

"It's only a tiny minority of our fanbase, no real Evertonians would do that"

When Liverpool fans do something:

"Fucking Kopites, they are all scum"

"Wonder if they will blame Chelsea"

"Always the victims, it's never their fault"

"They need banning from Europe"

Some good ones there but my personal favourite: “we haven’t got the media love in the red shite have to bury something like this”

Where has all this “Everton are classy” myth started to come from?

Is it their classy stadium?

Or their classy “dogs of war” style of football?

Or the classy way they taunted a player over the alleged parentage of one his children?

Or was it the classy chanting for Nick Barmby to die?

Or the classy way their supporters always mimic pushing walls or hand on face / fence gesture at every derby?

Or the classy way they win trophies and plaudits galore all over the continent?

Or the classy way they’ve boo’d the Hillsborogh minutes silence?

Or the classy way that lad attacked a Milwall fan with a knife, only to come off worse?

Or the classy way they cheered off a red carded player for putting in an absolute shit house tackle on Origi?

Or the classy way they hounded their manager because he had a red Christmas tree?

Or the classy way a supporter almost threw his 3 year old at a Lyon player?

They are utterly delusional.

Basically because they haven't killed 39 Italians. The only thing they cling to now is Heysel. They aren't bothered about who died, just that they were prevented from winning a European cup. It's literally the only thing that they can throw at us and in their minds they have more class because they have never been involved in any deaths at a footy match.

I was being facetious!

But they are a fucking joke of a club and fan base.
